There’s a healthy variety of mechs to choose from in Mecha Break, and while a skilled player can make effective use out of all of them, some Break Strikers do stand out for being much friendlier to novice pilots. Combat against other players is challenging, and sometimes, simply using a mech that’s easier to handle is the best way to win.
Mecha Break’s combat involves a bit of a learning curve, and players who want to climb the leaderboards will have a lot of work cut out for them. Starting the game can be a little intimidating, but thankfully, these following Break Strikers can make that learning process less frustrating and significantly more satisfying.

Alysnes is Mecha Break’s starting Striker, and as such, it features a low skill floor with a high skill ceiling. This mech can fight well in both ranged and melee combat, and thanks to its simple-yet-powerful kit, it can stand toe-to-toe even with the fanciest of Strikers with minimal effort.
One of the best parts of Alysnes’ kit is its ability to call in a new set of armor and weapons when its currently-equipped set is destroyed. This effectively gives Alysnes an extra life, making it a very forgiving Striker to use. Its playstyle is also very similar to most melee/ranged builds for the Armored Core games, so Alysnes should feel familiar to fans of that series.
The downsides of Alysnes include its average DPS output and the fact that it’s a jack of all trades. It can outshoot and outduel other Break Strikers, but players will need to put in more effort with Alysnes compared to the other more specialiazed mechs.

Tricera is a defender that excels at locking down positions and taking fire for the team. It can transform into a turret that acts as a decoy, forcing enemy lock-on systems to focus on Tricera instead of teammates. When in turret mode, Tricera is protected by anti-melee shields, a pair of drones that shoot down incoming projectiles, and its massive Fluid Armor and HP pools.
Offense-wise, this Striker is armed with two pairs of miniguns and a back-mounted howitzer. Tricera’s DPS output is notably lower compared to other Strikers, but the damage it deals is more than enough within a team fight. This mech is perfect for players who like playing the objective and sticking with their teammates.

Its greatest strength is its incredible mobility — Luminae’s Supportive Jetwing ability increases its mobility and Energy regeneration considerably, allowing players to boost recklessly without exhausting themselves and zip through entire maps to help allies.
As with most other hero shooters, having a healer like Luminae can be a real game-changer. This mech’s damage output is horrible, but it’s one of the few Strikers in the game that can heal allies. Players who love playing healer characters have a lot to look forward to with Luminae.

A good Narukami player can easily be the most threatening fighter on the battlefield. Its damage output is high enough to shoot down a Falcon with two fully-charged shots, and since it can deploy decoys and make itself invisible, Narukami can be an absolute menace to all players, regardless of what Striker they’re using. The best part is there isn’t much input involved — set up a sniper’s nest, point, and shoot.
However, this Striker is very weak in an upfront fight. If a Narukami pilot is spotted, they can expect the enemy team to come crashing down on them.

Panther is arguably the hardest to use among the Strikers on this list, but once players get to know the ins and outs of its kit, it becomes a very strong pick. This mech is designed to disrupt enemy formations by skewering and pushing targets away with its drill-lance before pummeling them with energy sword attacks.
A good Panther player knows when to engage, who to engage, and when to back out. Fighting flyers like Falcon and Skyraider is going to be a nightmare, but on the flip side, Panther can be very hard to counter for everybody else. Players will need to always look out for Panther’s energy level, as dashing or attacking one too many times can leave them in dangerous positions.
