After meeting the girls for the first time, Swann gets to spend a whole night with them in the sixth chapter of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. They’re looking for Autumn’s shop keys, as Corey had the pleasure of throwing them away in the previous chapter.

Everyone’s a stranger at first.

The movie night is ruined, but they’re still spending the night together. After all, if they can’t find Autumn’s keys, she’ll be in big trouble at work. Everyone knows that nothing gets a group together more than desperately trying to help one of your friends, so get ready for lots of conversations and choices to pick from.

Proper Introductions

Swan introducing herself in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

The chapter starts with the girls introducing themselves. They ask you for your name, and you can choose how to introduce yourself:

Choice

Outcome

I’m Swann! Like the bird!

Neutral.

I’m Swann. Sorry for being weird…

Neutral.

Everyone starts complaining about their day, and you can hover over each of the girls to comment on it. Not choosing anything doesn’t affect your relationships.

Choice

Outcome

Corey owes you for the movie, Nora.

Nora approves.

Thanks for helping me, Kat.

Kat approves.

I’m sorry he stole your keys, Autumn.

Autumn approves.

Kat then immediately asks you about the camera:

Choice

Outcome

I’m making a memoir.

Nora approves.

It’s just a hobby.

Nora disapproves.

As you keep chatting about stuff to record in Velvet Cove, you can react to some of the suggestions. This works exactly as one of the previous choices, giving you approval from one of the girls if you pick something, and not doing anything if you stay quiet:

Choice

Outcome

I love filming the outdoors, Kat.

Kat approves.

Nora’s right – I should film you guys.

Nora approves.

You’re into scary movies, Autumn?

Autumn approves.

Swann chatting with the other girls in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

Nora will then mention her band with Autumn, and you can show your interest in it. Waiting a few more seconds gives you a third dialogue option:

Choice

Outcome

What’s a… riot girl?

Kat approves.

Can I film you playing music?

Nora approves.

Punk? My parents hate that…

Kat disapproves.

Autumn then decides to keep looking for the keys, but Nora wants you to film her a little bit longer:

Choice

Outcome

I think we should help them…

Autumn approves, Nora disapproves.

I’ll film you next time, promise!

Nora disapproves.

Sure, I’ll film you, Nora!

Nora approves (romantically).

Choosing to film Nora starts the Spotlight: Nora Memoir. You can still start it (and complete it) during this chapter if you don’t.

After filming her (or not), you start helping find the keys too.

Searching For The Keys

Swann at the playground in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

Once Swann gets up, you can start searching for the keys in the playground. You’ll also learn how to use your flashlight. Just like in the previous chapter, you have plenty of optional Memoirs to capture, which include:

  • Forgotten Playground: All of the playground’s toys, such as the swing, the riders, the hopscotch, and the rocket.
  • Birds: There’s a Green-horned Owl above the Slum Slide, next to where Kat occasionally heads while searching for the keys.
  • Water Tower: Behind the Slum Slide, to the right side of the playground.
  • Moving in Place: The Flag Banner above the rocket and the shoes next to where Kat is looking. Also, interact with the merry-go-round to spin it, then film it for another entry.
  • Graffiti: Tons of these can be found around the playground, in places like walls and containers. Take this chance to complete it if you haven’t already.

All the girls also have their Spotlight Memoirs, which can be started here. To complete one of these, you have to film a girl ten different times. All the videos can be filmed at once, so you can complete the Memoirs for Nora, Kat, and Autumn right here.

There are many other occasions in the game where you can keep recording them. You can complete the Memoir here for completion’s sake, then edit it with footage from different chapters to make it more memoir-like.

While searching for the keys, Swann’s phone starts ringing and the girls get curious about what’s happening:

Choice

Outcome

It’s my alarm for Dad’s party…

Neutral.

It’s a bomb!

Neutral.

It’s nothing important.

Neutral.

If you approach Autumn, she may ask you to give her some light to help her look. Saying “Any luck?” triggers some dialogue options:

Choice

Outcome

I’m gonna watch a movie tonight.

Neutral.

You like video games?

Autumn approves.

Autumn and Swann looking for the keys in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

Kat has a similar dialogue, asking you to light up a tree. Saying “See anything?” gives you more options here:

Choice

Outcome

Fill his biker gloves with deer poop?

Neutral.

Key his bike?

Kat approves.

Nora also has a version of this. Approaching her and saying “Found anything?” triggers a similar dialogue:

Choice

Outcome

I go to the movies a lot… usually alone.

Nora approves.

What’s your favorite movie?

Neutral

However, if you filmed her before, your dialogue is vastly different here. Approach her and say “Hey, Nora.” to trigger a full cutscene. She first asks how she looked at the camera:

Choice

Outcome

You look great on camera!

Nora approves.

My memoir’s not really about people…

Nora disapproves.

She talks about wanting to be part of movies, and you can entertain her a bit further:

Choice

Outcome

Girls like us wouldn’t fit in, in Hollywood.

Nora disapproves.

How about we make our own movie?

Nora approves.

Move to Hollywood? No thanks…

Neutral.

She then asks you if you have a boyfriend:

Choice

Outcome

A boyfriend? Gross!

Nora approves (romantically).

It’d be nice to date someone…

Nora disapproves.

I’m not pretty enough…

Neutral.

Nora asking Swann if she has a boyfriend in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

Finally, she says she would kiss you if she was a guy. Waiting a few seconds gives you an extra option:

Choice

Outcome

Yeah, that was weird.

Nora disapproves.

You’d kiss me!?

Nora approves.

You’re lying!

Nora disapproves.

After all of these interactions, look up at the rocket until you see the keys hanging above it.

Select the dialogue option to briefly return to the present with Autumn. She comments on the intuition she had when you met, to which you must respond:

Choice

Outcome

I felt the same… Like a magnetic pull.

Autumn approves.

It doesn’t matter now…

Autumn disapproves.

After some small talk, you immediately return to the past.

Retrieving The Keys

The rocket with the keys in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

The girls decide to knock the keys out of the rocket, so you now have to find something to throw at them. If you chose not to film Nora before, her extra interaction (starting with “Hey, Nora.”) can be done here, with slightly different choices:

Choice

Outcome

My memoir’s not about people…

Nora disapproves.

I really missed out… Sorry!

Nora approves.

The remaining choices are exactly the same as described before.

If this Nora interaction was done during the first part, you may trigger another dialogue with Kat and Nora:

Choice

Outcome

What’s your favorite subject, Kat?

Kat approves.

I like to sleep in too!

Nora approves.

You can also have an extra scene with Kat. Interact with the Drain Pipe she’s next to, and she’ll start talking with you about Dylan and Corey:

Choice

Outcome

It was a misunderstanding…

Neutral.

She’s so full of herself!

Kat approves.

You two continue talking about them:

Choice

Outcome

Guys like Corey only date slutty girls.

Neutral.

Sorry you’re related…

Kat disapproves.

Isn’t that kinda mean?

Kat disapproves.

And finally, you can add your opinion about it:

Choice

Outcome

You should tell your parents what he did.

Kat disapproves.

Wanna crash at my place tonight?

Kat approves.

Some extra dialogues might appear about Kat and Swann not having many friends. They won’t give you any approval or disapproval.

The fence you cross with Autumn in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

You must cross the fence behind Autumn to find something. But before you do, wait for Nora to start talking about her hair:

Choice

Outcome

You’d look great with purple hair, Nor.

Nora approves.

I’ll help you, Autumn!

Autumn approves.

Once you’re ready, go through the fence, and Autumn will follow you. As soon as you light up your flashlight (as per her request), she’ll complain about losing her job:

Choice

Outcome

Worry wart!

Autumn disapproves.

I wish I could’ve stopped him…

Autumn approves.

You can find even more Graffiti for your Memoir collection in this zone. This is yet another chance to complete it if you haven’t already, for some reason.

Autumn takes the lead, so keep following her as she talks. Answering “I like filming you…” gives you disapproval from Autumn, so you can stay quiet this time.

After going through the small Entrance, you can start the Terrible Toys Memoir by filming the doll. Autumn also comments on the place, to which you may answer:

Choice

Outcome

This doesn’t seem safe…

Neutral.

This looks like a movie set!

Neutral.

Approaching the dog bowl lets you say “They must have a dog.”, and after that, you get another choice:

Choice

Outcome

I love cats!

Autumn approves.

I love all critters!

Autumn approves.

Taking too long here makes Autumn complain. Answering “You OK, Autumn?” gives you some approval with her.

You have plenty of interactions around here, such as bottles and the doll, but they won’t give you any relationship modifiers.

The brick pile in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

After messing around for a bit, head for the bricks behind the tent, next to one of the graffiti, and grab one of them to throw at the keys, then get back to the rocket.

While making the trip back, Autumn talks again about her job, to which you can say:

Choice

Outcome

Would a hug help?

Autumn approves.

We’ll get the keys, don’t worry!

Neutral.

Once you pass through the Entrance again, a cone falls and scares Autumn:

Choice

Outcome

Serial killer?

Autumn disapproves.

Probably a raccoon.

Autumn approves.

Choosing the second option gives you an extra dialogue here:

Choice

Outcome

I’m glad we got to talk more.

Autumn approves.

Raccoon paws resemble human hands!

Neutral.

When you return to the rocket, you can get the keys down in various ways:

  • Light up the keys with your flashlight before Autumn throws the brick. She’ll hit her shot, but the keys fall on the sewer hole nearby.
  • Same as before, but approach the hole beforehand and cover it with the cardboard piece nearby. The keys won’t fall into the hole.
  • If you don’t use your light, Autumn misses her shot and you grab the brick back for her. Do it three times, and Kat will get the keys by herself.
Autumn ready to throw a brick in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

Getting the keys alters the story, which will have a few consequences in some future chapters. But for now, you can finally get a moment of rest as you’ve finally done with this chapter.
