Announced at the 2023 Game Awards, Monster Hunter Wilds is the latest installment in Capcom’s hugely successful action RPG series, and franchise fans can’t wait to get their hands on it. As with a lot of other modern releases, they’ll be able to download the game ahead of its release, although the Monster Hunter Wilds preload times are a little later than usual.
Monster Hunter Wilds Global Preload Times
Monster Hunter Wilds preload times vary not only by region, but also by platform. Those playing on PC or Xbox will be able to start downloading Monster Hunter Wilds at 9 pm Pacific time regardless of where they are in the world. Preloading will begin at midnight local time for most PS5 owners, although some North Americans will gain access to the game a little earlier due to the US PlayStation Store operating on Eastern time.

Can You Play Monster Hunter Wilds Early?
Unfortunately, there is no way to play Monster Hunter Wilds early. Unlike a lot of other modern video game releases, there is no Monster Hunter Wilds early access regardless of which version of the game players splash out on. Given that pretty much all of the extra content included in the deluxe and premium deluxe versions of Monster Hunter Wilds are cosmetic in nature, this should make life much easier for those agonizing over which edition of the game to buy.
