Following the loss against Team Liquid during VALORANT Masters Bangkok, Sentinels attended the post-match press conference. Going into the press conference, every player on the team and their coach looked quite disappointed in themselves.

When asked about what went wrong during the game, Zellsis said that finding a balance is what the team is lacking.

“A big thing we are struggling with right now is finding the balance between working hard and having fun. Everyone on this team is super hardworking and wants to win.”

Sentinels’ loss also displayed the team’s lack of overall synergy, and Zellsis didn’t sugarcoat his words.

“Right now, we are lacking in confidence. We have lost our identity as a team. I have not had a great tournament. As a team, we are not on the same page all the time. In matches, we don’t have a lot of confidence in each other right now.”

Sentinels Collapsed Against Team Liquid

In their first match of VALORANT Masters Bangkok, Sentinels lost against DRX 2-0. This meant they needed to win their next game or be knocked out of the event.

They started on a strong foot in the match against Team Liquid during the first map. They won the map of Lotus 13-7. The next game on Abyss was a close affair, but Team Liquid clawed the win in overtime. Map 3 was a one-sided affair, with Sentinel capitulating on the attack. Team Liquid won the map of Bind with a scoreline of 13-1.

Below are the next set of matches will take place on Feb. 24:
