As first revealed online by PowerPyx, a website dedicated to tracking PlayStation’s Trophies, as well as providing online guides, Monster Hunter Wilds will launch with a total of 50 trophies. Of that number, two are Gold, 11 are Silver and 36 are Bronze before obtaining the elusive Platinum.
Specifically, three trophies (one Bronze, one Silver and one Gold) are dedicated to Miniature Crowns, with an additional two (one Silver and one Gold) dedicated to Gold Crowns. A single Bronze is dedicated to a Silver Crown, though it can be unlocked with a Gold.
That said, if you were grinding your teeth at the prospect of a Gold Crown chase, then fear not. It’s previously been revealed that Wilds will launch with its Binoculars able to tell you if a monster is of a Crown variety. There’s even a Trophy dedicated to spotting a Gold Crown monster.
Gold Crowns Were The Bane Of Monster Hunter World
The ability to spot Gold Crowns via the Binoculars should go a long way in helping more people obtain the Platinum Trophy. For what it’s worth, of the registered Trophy hunters on PSNProfiles, only 4.62 percent got the Platinum.
