There are a lot of ways to play Sniper Elite: Resistance; that’s true in regards to how you decide to play the Campaign, but that’s also true because there are plenty of different game modes that drastically change more or less everything about the game.

Here are the best kill challenges in Sniper Elite: Resistance!

One of the game modes that changes Resistance the most is Survival Mode. This mode is much, much less about sniping from huge distances, stealth, or many of the other things that Sniper Elite is known for. Instead, Survival Mode is entirely about defending a location from waves of Nazis and, above all, surviving the encounter.

How To Get Every Survival Ribbon

The Fortress Command map in Survival Mode.

There are 13 different ribbons to obtain in Survival Mode:

Ribbon

Requirement

Sentry Service

Kill 15 Nazis while you’re near the Command Post.

Survivor

Complete a Survival Mission.

Boom Barrage

Kill 10 Nazis with the Panzerfaust.

High Achiever

Kill 10 Nazis, with each kill worth at least 300 points.

Post Protector

Kill 5 Nazis that are actively taking your Command Post.

Flawless Fighter

Kill 10 Nazis without taking damage.

Consecutive Carnage

Get the most kills two waves in a row.

No Quarter

Complete an entire stage without losing your Command Post.

Steadfast

Complete an entire stage without being incapacitated.

Sniper Suppressor

Kill 5 Nazi snipers with headshots.

Rider’s Remorse

Kill 10 Nazis without allowing them to leave their vehicles.

Machine Gun Maverick

Kill 10 Nazis with an MG42.

Fortress Keeper

Complete an entire stage without an enemy making it to the Command Post.

Sentry Service

Several Nazis are downscope of a sniper rifle in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Depending on where you usually set up in Survival Mode, you’re either going to get this ribbon repeatedly, or you’ll really have to work for it.

If you’re someone who plays from inside the Command Post regularly, you’re going to get this ribbon possibly more than any other. There’s often plenty of cover in that location, and a lot of supplies to grab.

But, if you’re setting up at a sightline that’s a distance away from the Command Post, you’re never going to get it.

This is going to be very location-dependent, and sometimes be more viable than others.

Survivor

An enemy gets clipped by a bullet in Sniper Elite Resistance.

This is going to be the most time-intensive ribbon to get, but on the bright side, you don’t need to do anything in any particular way in order to get it.

The only thing you need to do is complete an entire Survival Mode mission. There are going to be many waves over multiple different locations. This can be accomplished Solo, but this is a challenge that’s going to be much easier as part of a team.

Boom Barrage

An explosion utterly decimates a vehicle full of Nazis in Sniper Elite Resistance.

There are often going to be a few Panzerfausts located around the Command Post that you’re defending. They can be picked up and fired quite easily, and there are often groups of Nazis that are prime targets for the ensuing explosion.

Be careful not to waste a shot, because you don’t get a lot of them. And with any explosive, be sure you aren’t firing at somebody who’s too close.

High Achiever

Points are displayed on the bottom right of the screen for a double kill in Sniper Elite Resistance

High Achiever can be a tricky one; it doesn’t necessarily require you to do anything specific, other than to get kills with as many modifiers as possible.

These modifiers can be many things: headshots or certain organ shots, traps, multi-kills, and vehicle kills are some examples. The exact amount of points you earn for kills is displayed on the right side of the screen as you get kills, so keep an eye on it to see what things are getting you more points than others.

Post Protector

A wounded Nazi is about to be put out of their misery in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Post Proctor is fairly easy to get, but ironically, you aren’t going to get any of this ribbon if things are going extremely well.

You get this ribbon by killing Nazis that are actively capturing a Command Post. If you/your team is doing great, enemies aren’t going to be making it there. So, if you specifically need the ribbon, you might need to let enemies get closer than you otherwise normally would before you kill them.

Flawless Fighter

Taking cover behind a stone half-wall in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Gaining ten kills without taking damage isn’t too difficult in the right position, or with the right support.

If you’re playing alone, this is going to require using your sniper rifle particularly well, along with picking a spot that has some good sightlines, and isn’t easily accessible by enemies.

If playing with teammates, it’ll help if you’ve got particularly aggressive allies. They’ll take the enemy’s attention, while you can focus on hitting shots from cover.

Consecutive Carnage

Firing an SMG at a Nazi in Sniper Elite Resistance.

You’ll need to play in multiplayer with this one, as it doesn’t track when playing Solo.

As part of a group, you’ll need to have the most kills two waves in a row. If you’re coordinated, you can ask for teammates to give you the chance to do this without much problem.

If you aren’t coordinated, you’ll likely need to play this fairly aggressively. You’ll want to take down enemies without allies having much chance at shooting them. This is going to put you in dangerous positions, but this can’t really be helped.

No Quarter

A bullet hurtles directly towards a Nazi in Sniper Elite Resistance.

This is an extremely easy ribbon to get in many situations. Many stages, particularly early stages, can be completed without the enemy capturing the Command Post, or even consistently making it to the Command Post.

Make sure to cover all of your sightlines as best you can, and always keep at least one person close enough to the Command Post to clear it of Nazis if something unexpected happens.

Steadfast

Taking cover behind sandbags in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Steadfast goes right along with No Quarter in terms of ease; if you’re playing carefully and covering the right lanes, you can make it through a stage without getting downed.

The most useful advice here is to stay in cover as much as possible. Get somewhere where enemies are going to have a tough time surrounding you, and where you can see most of them, and this is going to come easy.

Sniper Suppressor

A bullet hurtles towards an upper story of a building housing a sniper in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Enemy snipers are going to spawn in most rounds; usually one or two snipers each. Much of the time, they aren’t going to have a good sightline on the objective, and you can often wait until the rest of the Nazis are dead before turning your attention to them.

The snipers often spawn on rooftops. Keep an eye out for glints in the sky, because their scope gives them away.

Rider’s Remorse

A couple of Nazis on a motorcycle share a bullet in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Rider’s Remorse is easiest to get when using heavy explosives, like Pressure Mines or TNT. Enemy vehicles are going to come with regularity in Survival Mode, and the later waves are going to bring some of the heavier vehicles.

Lay Pressure Mines in the road in between rounds, and keep a Panzerfaust around for such situations.

If the vehicle happens to be a car or a motorcycle, shooting the driver and riders before they can get out will score you this ribbon, as well.

Machine Gun Maverick

Shooting a Nazi with an MG42 in Sniper Elite Resistance.

MG42’s are dropped by specially-equipped enemies that appear in many rounds, and can sometimes be found around the map, too. These weapons hit outrageously hard, and have 100 rounds to get through before they’re empty.

If you’re playing Solo, these weapons are especially valuable, as they’re going to even the playing field. Conserve your ammo and fire just a few shots at each enemy to drop them, and you’ll get a lot of use out of it.

Fortress Keeper

Multiple enemy corpses litter the area outside of the Command Post in Sniper Elite Resistance.

This ribbon is essentially a more difficult version of the No Quarter ribbon: here, you cannot allow any enemies to even reach the Command Post.

If you’re playing Solo, this can be tough. There are a few different ways enemies can come from on most objectives, and it’s extremely difficult to manage all of them at once. Well-placed traps, like Teller Mines and Grenade Booby Traps, are going to go a long way.

When playing with allies, just be sure to split your sightlines. If everyone is covering a different angle, it’ll be tough for the enemy to gain any foothold.
