In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Friendship Island is a vast area made up of different biomes. You’ll start in Seaside Resort, the first area where you land after jumping out of the plane. However, not everyone from the plane will be in Seaside Resort. By finding Power Crystals and important equipment, you’ll be able to unlock new regions, including Gemstone Mountain.

You can actually reach this area easily by activating the zipline in Spooky Swamp. This large, Old West-themed island is home to Pekkle and Pompompurin. Additionally, there are eight puzzle rooms waiting for you here—if your goal is to solve them, you’re in the right place!

Triple Trouble Puzzle Room Solution

Where To Find The Triple Trouble Puzzle Room

To enter this puzzle room, start from the Gemstone Town fast travel point. Then, follow the northeast path until you reach a small pond. On the north side of this pond, you’ll find the entrance to the puzzle room.

You cannot open this puzzle room alone, so you’ll need a companion to step on the two buttons in front of the entrance. The easiest companion to bring is Hello Kitty, who becomes available as a companion at friendship level two.

How To Solve The Triple Trouble Puzzle Room

Once inside, you’ll see five signs with white buttons in front of them. Two of these signs will have their symbol-facing side visible to you, while the others will not. Your goal is simple; press the white buttons in front of the signs until all symbols face you. However, pressing a button will rotate both that sign and any adjacent ones. To solve the puzzle, follow these steps:

• Press the leftmost button once.
• Press the rightmost button once.
• Press the second button from the left once.

This will ensure that all symbols face you, unlocking the door and granting access to the treasure chest!

Rotary Runaround Puzzle Room Solution

Where To Find The Rotary Runaround Puzzle Room

This puzzle room is located in Crystal Caves. To reach Crystal Caves, start at the Gemstone Corral fast travel point, follow the path east, descend the ladder, and continue left. Eventually, you’ll find the entrance to Crystal Caves.

Once inside, you’ll need to dive into the large central lake, so having a Snorkel is essential. Since this puzzle room’s entrance is quite deep, you’ll also need a Mermaid Outfit.

How To Solve The Rotary Runaround Puzzle Room

The inside of this puzzle room is quite spacious. You’ll find several white buttons that rotate the stone platforms. Each button rotates the platforms on its row. However, your main goal is to place the golden cubes onto the yellow buttons in the northern part of the room. Doing so will unlock access to the treasure chests.

First, you need to press the buttons on the west side of the room to create a path from the button closest to the door to the leftmost golden cube:

Then, use the path you created to pick up the first golden cube and carry it near the entrance door. From there, move to the rightmost torch and place the cube there. Use the button next to this torch and the southeastern button (to your right) to create a path between the southernmost button and the cube.

After placing the first cube, use the white button in the southeastern part of the room (near the first cube) and the button next to the torch on its left to create a path between the middle golden cube and the yellow button closest to the treasure room.

From the button next to the torch, head north, jump, and use your balloons to reach the cube. Then, place it on the yellow button:

Finally, use the button in the northwest corner of the room and the button next to the torch below it to create a path between the last cube near the treasure room and the yellow button in the middle. Then, jump and use your balloon from next to the torch to reach the cube and place it on the yellow button:

With all three golden cubes in place, the treasure room will unlock!

To reach this treasure room, go to the Oasis fast travel point and head to the right. You will find the entrance to the puzzle room there.

Keep in mind that you need to complete the Reef Revival quest to obtain the Rainbow Reef Star Fragment required to enter.

How To Solve The Lost Launchers Puzzle Room

Once you enter the room, your first goal is to activate the red block. Use the air current from it with your balloon and fly north.

Activate the next red block and fly north again. After activating the next red block, fly left to reach the final red block. Activate it and fly to the wooden chest to open it.

Totem Tower Puzzle Room Solution

Where To Find The Totem Tower Puzzle Room

To reach this puzzle room, start from the Gemstone Corral fast travel point and follow the plank path to the left. Jump down by the zipline and proceed across the wooden bridge on the left. After reaching the Crystal Caves entrance, move north, and you will reach the puzzle room entrance. You will need a Rainbow Reef Star Fragment to enter.

How To Solve The Totem Tower Puzzle Room

Inside the room, you will see a totem created by stacked symbols, surrounded by buttons in various colors, each with a symbol on them. Your goal is to have all the symbols on the totem face you. When you press a button, the corresponding symbol on the totem and the indicators above it will rotate, while the lower ones will not. To do this, press the buttons as follows:

• Press the blue button twice.
• Press the yellow button twice.
• Press the red button three times.
• Press the green button twice.
• Press the purple button once.

This will align all the symbols on the totem to face you, allowing you to reach the chest.

Gripping Gearworks Puzzle Room Solution

Where To Find The Gripping Gearworks Puzzle Room

To reach this puzzle room, start from the Gemstone Corral fast travel point and follow the wooden plank path on the left. Jump down next to the zipline and continue across the wooden bridge on the left to reach the Crystal Caves entrance.

Once inside, follow the plank path on the left and enter through the northern entrance. You will see the puzzle room entrance to the north, and you will need a Rainbow Reef Star Fragment to enter.

How To Solve The Gripping Gearworks Puzzle Room

1. In this puzzle room, the first thing you need to do is grab the red cube and place it on the teal button next to where you found it.
2. After that, go up the spawned stairs and press the white button next to the teal button above.
3. Once the stone platforms rotate, jump onto them and grab the yellow cube in front of the purple door.
4. Return to the red cube and pick it up. Place the yellow cube on the teal button so that the stairs won’t despawn.
5. Take the red cube and place it next to the torch by the entrance door to activate it.
6. Then, use the airflow from the cube to fly to the red button. Press the white button next to the red button.
7. Afterward, grab the red cube, go up the stairs, and place it on the teal button above.
8. Return to the yellow cube, go up the stairs, and place it on the red button. This will open the door to the chest.
9. Then, take the red cube and place it on the stone platform next to the torch above the stairs.
10. Return to the teal button above and press the white button next to it.
11. Jump onto the rotated platform and return to the red cube, grab it, and go north.
12. Place the cube behind the opened door and activate it. Then, use the airflow to fly to the chest.

Whirly Whimsy Puzzle Room Solution

Where To Find The Whirly Whimsy Puzzle Room

To reach this puzzle room, start at the Gemstone Corral fast travel point and follow the planked path to the left. Jump down by the zipline and proceed across the wooden bridge on the left, which will lead you to the entrance of Crystal Caves.

Once inside, follow the planked path on the left and enter from the northern entrance. From here, head left, follow the planked path, and enter the orange glowing entrance. To the north of this room, you will find the entrance to the puzzle room. You will need a Rainbow Reef Star Fragment to enter.

How To Solve The Whirly Whimsy Puzzle Room

Although this puzzle room is quite large, the task is very simple. Your goal is to step on all the purple buttons in the room to deactivate the barrier around the chest. To do this:

1. First, go left, jump to reach four purple buttons, and step on them.
2. Then, turn back and press the white button. Move straight ahead and step on the five buttons near the barriers.
3. Press the white button here, then jump to the left and step on nine more purple buttons.
4. Activate the white button at the end of these buttons and jump onto the rotating stone platform to head south. Step on the nine purple buttons here as well. Activate the white button next to these buttons.
5. Jump onto the platform on your right and move forward. You will reach five more purple buttons. Step on them, then activate the white button.
6. Jump onto the rotated stone platform ahead and step on four more purple buttons. After that, return to the white button.
7. Press the white button again and move left to return to the nine purple buttons you stepped on earlier.
8. From here, head north and reach the white button ahead. Press the button and go to the other end of the stone platform you are standing on. From here, move all the way south and step on the four buttons at the southernmost point.

This will deactivate the barriers, allowing you to access the chest.

Lilypad Lockup Puzzle Room Solution

Where To Find The Lilypad Lockup Puzzle Room

This puzzle room is located in the coastal area southwest of Gemstone Mountain. If you’re having trouble finding it, start from the wooden platform with the Tophat symbol on the western side of the coast and head slightly northwest. Then, look north to find the entrance to the puzzle room.

You’ll need the Gemstone Mountain Star Fragment to enter, which can be obtained by completing the Revive The Oasis quest.

How To Solve The Lilypad Lockup Puzzle Room

Once inside, you’ll see two green cubes. Take one and place it further ahead between the entrance and the stairs. Activate this cube, and it will create a bridge to the upper area.

Next, grab the other green cube near the stairs and place it on the green tile in the middle of the bridge. This will form another bridge leading to the top floor.

You won’t need to use the third green cube. Finally, take the red cube and head to the highest level. Place it at the edge of the stone platform and activate it. Use the air current from the cube along with your balloons to rise up and reach the wooden chest.

Critical Climb Puzzle Room Solution

Where To Find The Critical Climb Puzzle Room

This puzzle room is located on the eastern side of Gemstone Mountain’s shore. You’ll find it to the left of the broken wooden platform, which is marked with three stars and a tophat symbol on the eastern shore. To enter this puzzle room, you’ll need the Mount Hothead Star Fragment, which can be obtained by completing the Fire Up The Volcano quest.

How To Solve The Critical Climb Puzzle Room

This room is more of a parkour challenge rather than a puzzle, and it’s not particularly difficult. Once inside, climb the wall on the left. Then, cross over the gray stones, but be careful—they will fall if you stand on them for too long.

Climb the wall next to the torch, then cross over the gray stones on the left. After that, climb the next wall and activate the red block. The air current from the red block will allow you to use your balloons to fly to the wooden chest in the southern part of the room.
