Like in traditional League of Legends, some champions work well with other champions. This is also known as a counter, where you pick a champion to counteract the enemy champion. How to figure out the Best Wild Rift Counters
If you’re newer to the game, it can be overwhelming figuring out not only what are the best counters for the enemy team’s champion, but also what are the best counters against your own champion. Let’s use the top lane for example, if you’re Darius, who is a very clunky melee champion, then you’re going to have a tougher time against ranged champions. Darius wants to get in your face, therefore ranged champions like Kayle, Vayne, and Jayce are all excellent choices if you’re going up against him.

As you can see, Heimerdinger, Vayne, and Teemo are all excellent champions to play into Darius. Let’s give you a brief reason why for each champion:
- Vayne: Vayne can pierce through Darius’s health like butter, easily kiting him and stopping him from stacking his passive. Vayne can also you Condem to knock Darius away if he gets too close.
- Teemo: Teemo has a Blind, which means that Darius will not be able to auto-attack for a short period of time. Teemo being AP will also force Darius to have to build some magic resist.
- Heimerdinger is too much of a problem for Darius and is his biggest counter. Heimer can stun, burst, and simply back away from Darius while still pumping out loads of damage. If Heimer has turrets available, Darius can’t do anything to him.
