Boiled is a blast from Sakamoto’s past, an assassin who came up at the same time as Sakamoto and learned to look up to him for his indomitable strength. But after a presumed betrayal, Boiled decided to wash his hands of Sakmoto and was willing to settle the score after learning about the bounty on his former comrade’s head.
Boil utilizes explosives in his combat style, and the speed and combination of his explosives push Sakamoto to take this fight seriously. Similar to Rock Lee dropping his leg weights, Sakamoto shifts gears and decides to go all out, which results in one of the coolest panels in the Sakamoto Days manga.

A Vicious Mentor Versus Protege Fight To The Death
In The Order, Yotsumura was Shishiba’s senior, and while the two had almost nothing in common, they worked together for a considerable amount of time. However, circumstances put a price on Yotsumura’s head after he killed the chief of the order.
Among the many assassins who sought to claim the prize, Shishiba was the first to find Yotsumura, and an intense fight to the death between senior and successor kicked off. This fight cemented the skill level of both Yotsumura and Shishiba, Shishiba, for the most part, was an enigmatic character who didn’t seem to like killing at all, but was as lethal as they come.

Assassin Versus Prisoner With A Thin Line Between Life And Death
Apart is one of the most interesting fighters during the death row prisoner arc, and his battle against Sakamoto is one of the highlights of the series. After being spotted by Heisuke, it becomes clear that Apart is no average mark, and it will take much more than a few bullets to put him down.
While Sakakmoto and Heisuke team up, Apart doesn’t seem to need a lot of effort to hold his own. Surprisingly, Sakamoto is stuck in his heavier form and must find a way to penetrate Apart’s wire manipulation without his peak strength. In a wild and over-the-top fight, Apart comes undone at the hands of Sakamoto’s inhuman adaptation.

Shin And Kaji Vs. Shinaya/Gaku
Gaku Plays Puppet Master As Shin Struggles To Survive
During the JCC test, Shin and Kaji find themselves allies when they come across Shinaya, a promising applicant with exceptional physical abilities that resembles Sakamoto himself. However, Shinaya was being controlled by Gaku and had no freedom of choice in the battle.
Shin, Kaji, and even Mafuyu were not able to deal with Gaku and Shinaya and were pushed to their absolute limit during the battle. Shinaya’s dominating abilities came at a cost as Gaku pushed his body and mind past the redline. Visually and pacing-wise, this fight is one of the best in the series and is a defining moment in Shin’s evolution.

Sakamoto Gets To Cut Loose Against A Cyborg Assassin
Sakamoto and Kashima have a brutal slugfest in the Lab Arc of the manga. Primarily seen wearing a deer’s head mask, Kahsima reveals himself and this slew of body modifications as he and Sakamoto go head-to-head. Kashima reveals that he has weapons spread throughout his body, even internally.

This pushes Sakamoto to believe that Kashima is immortal due to the level at which he is no longer human. Unfortunately for Kashima, this allows Sakamoto to cut loose and use his full strength to incapacitate the cyborg.

Being on equal footing in terms of speed and strength, Nagumo and Gaku must rely on their determination and wit to beat the other fighters.

Old man Takemura is a specter that haunts the pages of Sakamoto Days. In brief appearances, Takemura appears wielding a Katana and commits some of the most inhuman acts in the series, from slicing a man clean through without a single motion to cutting an entire industrial structure in half. It’s said that if he wanted, Takemmura could cut the entire city in half without any effort.
This does not bode well when Skamoto, Nagumo, and Uzuki come face to face with the unrivaled swordsman. Sakamoto and his allies can barely stay in one piece as Takemura cuts with indiscrimination. This battle has some of the highest stakes in the series and is a constant page-turner from beginning to end.
