Since the launch of Season 1, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has faced multiple issues affecting gameplay, including bugs, stability errors, and rampart hackers. These problems worsened with the integration of Warzone, which introduced additional problems to the game, creating an unstable experience.
To address these concerns, the Call of Duty team has officially involved the community through a program called Recon Squad. This initiative aims to gather player feedback on the current state of the game and recent design decisions, with the goal of making necessary improvements. With that in mind, here’s what you need to know about the Recon Squad program, including details on rewards and the questions being asked.

Call of Duty has its own RICOCHET Anti-Cheat, but how does it work in-game? Here’s all you need to know, including its functionalities.
What Is Call Of Duty: Recon Squad?
Call of Duty: Recon Squad is a community-driven research program that allows players to share feedback periodically through surveys, online discussion boards, and focus groups. In return, participants earn points that can be redeemed for in-game rewards.
The program is managed by Fuel Cycle, a platform specializing in community insights. It enables companies to engage with their audience and gather valuable data through various research methods.
Since the program launched alongside Black Ops 6 and Warzone, the community will remain focused on it throughout their seasons. However, it will also cover a wide range of topics related to the Call of Duty franchise, which may impact future titles.
To join the Call of Duty: Recon Squad community, you must receive a direct invitation from Activision, as the program is invite-only. Invitations will be sent to the email address linked to your Activision account, and eligibility is not based on stats, playtime, or preferred game modes – any player can be selected. If you receive an invitation, it will be exclusive to you and cannot be shared with friends or family.
All Call Of Duty: Recon Squad Rewards
Call of Duty: Recon Squad offers 24 rewards to invited participants who complete program activities. Each activity grants a different amount of points. Except for 2XP Tokens and the Gobblegum Pack, all rewards are from three in-game store bundles: Board Love, Red Mamba, and Tracer Pack: Steel Mountain Rider – all valued at 3,400 CoD Points (priced at 800, 1,100, and 1,500 CoD Points each, respectively).

How To Claim Free Call Of Duty: Recon Squad Rewards
To claim free rewards in Call of Duty: Recon Squad, players simply need to redeem the points they earn by completing activities. Call Of Duty: Recon Squad Survey Questions
The responses in the Call of Duty: Squad Cycle program will rotate based on the specific information needed by different game development departments. However, some of the key questions in the program asked participants about camos, events, seasonal events, and the Prestige system, tasking them to choose the option they agreed with the most.
In the Prestige section, the questions focused on functionality, asking participants to identify their preferred mechanic, including:
- Entering Prestige mode relocks all Weapons, Perks, Equipment, etc.
- CoD Rank increases from 1-1,000 while the player progresses through the Prestige system.
- CoD Rank goes from 1-55 and resets back to CoD Rank 1 upon entering Prestige mode.
- Grinding to Max Prestige is available at the game’s launch.
- Max Prestige is capped at the game’s launch and increases each season.
- Every Prestige level has the same progression system (e.g., Weapons, Perks, Equipment, etc. unlock in the same order at the same CoD Rank).
- Entering Prestige mode does not lock any Weapons, Perks, Equipment, etc.
- Every Prestige level has a unique progression system (e.g., Weapons, Perks, Equipment, etc. unlock in a different order, and there are unique ways to earn XP in each Prestige Level).
