SasuSaku, the ship name for Sasuke and Sakura, has been very popular in the Naruto fandom even before their relationship became canon at the end of the series, with them having a daughter in the Naruto sequel, named Sarada.
Sasuke and Sakura’s relationship is criticized for lacking moments together, but this fan short story by an animator who worked on the series, known as Sekibeing, fills in the gap a bit for many fans of the couple. This short story isn’t canon, but still a nice read, and something many fans might have wished to be canon in the Boruto story. This story is 14 pages long and happens during Sakura and Sasuke’s adult age.
This short story showcases them traveling together after leaving the Leaf Village. In the end, the two of them share a romantic moment as well.

What’s Next For the Boruto and Naruto Series?
Currently, the Boruto anime is on a hiatus and will be so for the foreseeable future. This is definitely unfortunate for fans of the franchise. However, the Boruto manga, on the other hand, is still ongoing, and has even had a timeskip. The series, at this point, doesn’t feature old beloved characters much, which is a bummer for fans of Naruto specifically.
One thing Naruto fans should definitely look forward to is the new 4 episodes the original Naruto story is going to have. These episodes will showcase some new adventures for Team 7, before Sasuke left the team.
