Here are all the main characters in Season Two of Arcane you need to know about, and the actors portraying them.

The Mauler Twins

Kevin Michael Richardson

Shot of the Mauler Twins from Invincible stood next to each other with one holding a weapon.

The Mauler Twins are series regulars. They’re big, strong, and often get into villainous schemes. Because they’re twins with the exact same voice, they both share a voice actor.

That actor is Kevin Michael Richarson. He is a very experienced voice actor who has lent his deep voice to many TV, film, and video game characters. For example, he plays Captain Gantu in the Lilo and Stitch series, Dr. Hibbert from The Simpsons, Jerome from Family Guy, and the main villain of Halo 2, Tartarus.

The Immortal

Ross Marquand

Invincible close up of Immortal.

Living up to his name, The Immortal is an immortal superhero, meaning he had already been around many years before the series even began. The actor who plays him, Ross Marquand, hasn’t been around quite as long, but he’s had a very successful career.

He’s provided his voice for many other projects, such as Robot Chicken, Family Guy, and Marvel’s What If…? series. Speaking of Marvel, he also plays Red Skull in both Infinity War and Endgame. You may have also seen his face in The Walking Dead, as he featured in that show as Aaron for over 100 episodes.

7

Robot

Zachary Quinto

Invincible shot of Robot looking to the right.

The original Robot is a drone that a human secretly controls. His powers aren’t as fancy as some of the other heroes, but he can still pack a punch and is a good leader (sometimes).

Zachary Quinto voices the human and, conversely, the robot it’s controlling. He is also Sylar in Heroes and Spock in three of the many Star Trek movies – he’s in the J.J. Abrams ones. He’s also featured in projects like Brilliant Minds, 24, and Snowden.

The Immortal’s voice actor, Ross Marquand, plays the clone version of the character, who often goes by the name Rudy.

6

Rex Splode

Jason Mantzoukas

Invincible shot of Rex Splode looking beat up and holding a piece of paper.

Rex Splode is a superhero that has the ability to generate explosive energy. He’s not always the most honorable or likable hero, but deep down, he’s a decent guy.

He’s played by Jason Mantzoukas, who you are likely to know if you’re a fan of Michael Schur sitcoms, as he’s had memorable stints in Parks and Recreation, The Good Place, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. In the latter, he played the wild and popular character Adrian Pimento. He is also Rafi in The League and Nadal in The Dictator. So, comedy is very much Mantzoukas’s thing.

5

Atom Eve

Gillian Jacobs

Invincible shot of Atom Eve flying into the air.

Atom Eve has some of the most impressive powers in the series, as she can manipulate matter. More importantly, she is committed to using her talents to make people’s lives better.

The adult version of the character, which is the one you see in the main Invincible series, is voiced by Gillian Jacobs. She is likely best known for playing Britta Perry in the cult classic sitcom, Community. She’s also one of the leads in the Netflix series Love, and she features in the likes of The Bear and Girls. She is mostly known for her TV work, but Jacobs has also been in plenty of movies, including Don’t Think Twice and Ibiza.

4

Cecil Stedman

Walton Goggins

Invincible shot of Cecil Stedman pressing a trigger.

Cecil Stedman is a character that always keeps you guessing, as you rarely know whose side he’s really on. He may not have superpowers, but as the director of the Global Defense Agency, he still has a lot of power.

The important character is played by Walton Goggins, who will be a very familiar face to a lot of people, as he has been in plenty of well-known films and TV shows. For example, he’s part of the Fallout streaming series’ main cast, as he plays the main ghoul. He’s also featured in The Shield and Justified. As for films, he’s in Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and many more.

3

Debbie Grayson

Sandra Oh

Invincible shot of Debbie Grayson with her hands on her hips, looking up the stairs.

As the mother of Invincible and wife of Omni-Man, Debbie Grayson has an integral role to play in the series, even though she doesn’t have superpowers of any kind. In some ways, she’s the heart of the series and is responsible for several of its most emotional moments.

Sandra Oh is the actress providing her vocals. She should be used to major television roles by this point, as she plays Eve Polatri in Killing Eve and Dr. Cristina Yang in Grey’s Anatomy. Aside from these, Sandra Oh has been featured in a bunch of other TV shows and movies, including several animated projects, such as Raya and the Last Dragon and Turning Red.

2

Omni-Man

J.K. Simmons

Omni-Man holding a man above his head in a canyon from Invincible.

Despite not technically being the main character in the show, Omni-Man is perhaps the most well-known. He is an incredibly powerful superbeing who sometimes uses his powers for good, while other times, he’s pure evil.

Someone who definitely wouldn’t like him is J. Jonah Jameson from the Spider-Man series. It just so happens that J.K. Simmons plays Jameson in the Sam Raimi Spidey films and Omni-Man in Invincible. Those are just two of the iconic roles the actor has had in his career. He’s also been in Whiplash, Juno, La La Land, and many more. He’s even voiced some video game characters, including General Ketheric Thorm from Baldur’s Gate 3.

1

Mark Grayson (AKA Invincible)

Steven Yeun

Mark Grayson from the Invincible series.

The series’ titular character also goes by Mark Grayson in his regular life. In the superhero world, though, he’s called Invincible, and he’s an up-and-coming hero who’s still finding his way.

Steven Yeun plays the lead character. Some know him as Glenn from The Walking Dead. He has also starred in movies like Burning and Minari and is part of an ensemble cast in Okja. Beef and Big Bang Theory are some of the most notable TV shows in which he has appeared.
