The Totem of Rightful Ownership quest requires players to collect various fragments to assemble Woedica’s Totem at the party camp in Avowed. One of the Totem Fragments required for this quest is called the Golden Flames, which can be a bit tricky to find if you’re not very fond of exploration. However, the fragment is located close to the City of Paradis. However, you’ll have to do a bit of swimming to reach it.

How to Find the Golden Flames Totem Fragment in Avowed

Players can find the Golden Flames for the Totem of Rightful Ownership quest on Castol’s Folly island in Avowed. The island is located southeast of Southern Paradis. After reaching Castol’s Folly, you’ll need to follow the path lined up with braziers. You head across a camp filled with tents and keep going towards the left side of the island until you reach an intersection with an orange tower dome stuck between rocks.

From the intersection, turn left and head towards the ledge with a brazier. Here, you’ll need to jump across a few gaps to reach the front of the island. At the edge, you’ll spot a cloth/tarp on the ground with the Golden Flames

Totem Fragment lying on the ground. Collect the Totem Fragment, and it will be marked as found in your quest journal.

How to Reach Castol’s Folly in Avowed

If you’re wondering how to reach Castol’s Folly island in Avowed, you’re not alone. There’s no proper pathway that leads up to the island, only rocks and shipwrecks. One of the best ways to get to Castol’s Folly is by following the path charted in the image above.

Start off from the Ondra’s Reach Beacon next to Shantytown, and keep following the shoreline until you reach a Xaurip camp. You’ll find a couple of Xaurip Fighters and Priests, with some beetles that you need to eliminate. Remember to loot the camp after clearing the area to get some extra loot.

Once you’re done, look towards the island, and you’ll need to swim across to its edge until you reach its shores. Keep following the path around Castol’s Folly until you reach a shipwreck. Head across the wreck and climb onto the platform lined with wooden boards. Now, jump from platform to platform until you reach Castol’s Folly in Avowed.
