  • This Venom strategy could make the Vanguard even more powerful in the game.

A Marvel Rivals player has surprised the community by showing that Venom can one-shot certain targets if he has Luna Snow and Mantis on his team. The symbiote is one of the heroes in Marvel Rivals‘ base roster and has been attracting attention among players since the game’s launch.

Playing Marvel Rivals as Venom is the ideal combination of a DPS character and a tank, with a significant 800 health pool. If the player gets into trouble, they can easily reposition themselves with Venom Swing, disrupt opponents by sticking to them, and deal damage with Cell Corrosion. If the symbiote finds itself in a tricky situation, players can heal themselves with Symbiotic Resilience. As a result, Venom is a beloved character in the community and is considered one of the best Vanguards in Marvel Rivals.

Marvel Rivals Player Points Out Helpful Settings Change

Marvel Rivals player points out a very useful setting to use during matches, and players are surprised they didn’t notice this option before.

To take even more advantage of the symbiote’s potential, Twitch streamer Andr3w discovered that Venom can take down opponents with just one blow if his damage is buffed by allies Mantis and Luna Snow. In the clip from one of his Twitch broadcasts, he appears using Venom’s ultimate, Feast of the Abyss, grabbing the opponents with the character’s tentacles. As he is under the effect of the damage-boosting buff from the two supports, the enemy team is fully eliminated in a single move.

How the Synergy Between Venom, Luna Snow, and Mantis Works in Marvel Rivals

Venom’s ultimate sees the character burrow underground, gaining free movement and devouring enemies afterward. With this, they receive damage based on their current health, while Venom receives equivalent bonus health. When Mantis uses her Alien Inspiration skill, she consumes Life Orbs and increases her allies’ damage by 12%. This damage output escalates even more when Luna Snow uses her ultimate, Fate of Both Worlds, being able to heal or increase allies’ damage. If she takes the more offensive route, the character provides her allies with 40% extra damage. As a result, with the help of Luna and Mantis, Venom can knock out targets with up to 300 HP with his ultimate.

Venom is one of the character options already available in Marvel Rivals and is relatively easy to play with. However, for players who prefer to try something new, The Thing and Human Torch debuted in Marvel Rivals. With these additions, NetEase expands the cast of playable Vanguards (The Thing) and Duelists (Human Torch). Additionally, the duo joins Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic, completing The Fantastic Four’s presence in the game.
