The Boruto Manga Will Have 100 Chapters Soon
Boruto is the sequel to the Naruto series and has been ongoing for quite some time now. The original Boruto manga started in 2016, which is almost a decade ago. The original Boruto manga ended in 2023, and since then, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has taken over.
Next month, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 20 will drop, and that will mark a huge milestone for the Boruto manga. This will push the Boruto manga to 100 chapters in total.
This might seem a bit low for a series that has been ongoing for almost 10 years now, but it makes sense when fans remember that the Boruto manga is a monthly series instead of a weekly one. The manga also switched from Weekly Shonen Jump to V Jump.
Although Boruto chapters are longer, in numbers they’re obviously lower. Monthly mangas can only push out 12 chapters a year if no break is ever taken, while weekly mangas are closer to 50.

For now, the only thing going on for the Boruto series is its manga. Its anime, on the other hand, has been on hiatus for quite some time, and is not coming back anytime soon. Fans will have to wait for quite some time to see the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga animated.
