Learn where to find Dry Devil’s men and how to recruit them back in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

It is a pretty linear quest where you have to make your way through fighting the enemies. Here, we will guide you on how to complete this quest with ease so you don’t have to try again and again.

Get On The Wagon

Samuel And Liechtenstein sitting on the Wagon.

After talking to Kubyenka, get on the wagon. Talk to Samuel and tell him you will save his mother. After that, talk to Kubyenka and explain the situation to him. When the fast travel prompt comes, choose that option to reach the destination quickly. Once you are there, Samuel will ask you to follow him through a secret passage that will lead you inside Kuttenberg City.

Samuel and Rabbi may bug out in the tunnel, so if that happens, simply reload the last autosave.

Kubyenka is drunk, so he will slow you down a lot. After a while, Liechtenstein will split up with the group, so go with him. He has to find some important documents and would ask for your help. So, head up into the kitchen, and you will find an enemy.

Crouch and go behind him to perform a stealth takedown. Make sure you have equipped a dagger in order to perform a stealth kill. After killing him, go up, and you will find three enemies there. You can perform a stealth kill on one of them and fight the other two.

You can easily miss a pretty important item during this quest. The game doesn’t tell where you can find it, but you can get it from one of the rooms in the inn. From the kitchen, head up the stairs, and just in front, you will see a door. Open it, and you will find a book on the table. That is, Master Studies II can help you increase your scholarship skills. You can study the book after the quest.

Henry crouching behind a murderer.

The fight won’t be that hard, so defeat all of them, and you will have plenty of chests you can loot. However, you would need to lockpick them, but there is an alternative. Rob the keys from Jacob, and you will be able to unlock each chest on the floor, so take anything you think is useful.

One of the enemies you defeat will have a pretty good crossbow, so loot the bodies and find it. Also, make sure to loot bolts from the bodies, as they will come in handy pretty soon.

Wait For Samuel

In-game prompt asking you to follow Samuel.

After defeating the enemies, a prompt will appear asking you to wait for Samuel outside the inn. You can leave the inn through the door that leads to the courtyard, and a cutscene will commence. After that, follow Samuel, and after he stops, you will need to head over to the house marked on the map to talk to his mother, Sara.

Talk to Sara and, after that, follow her to escape. There will be a couple of archers attacking you from the above. You can shoot them with a crossbow, but it will be way too annoying to do so, as every time you are hit, you will have to do the long reload animation again.

So, it is better to go up and kill them with your sword. Just killing one would be enough, as the other one would just run away. Now, follow Sara, and she will stop outside the house. Go inside and defeat two enemies. When you have defeated the enemies, leave the house, and a cutscene will commence.

Erik And His Men.

Erik will rush inside with a lot of soldiers, so you will have to hold them off. This fight will be difficult, way too difficult if you don’t have the right gear on. Make sure you are wearing the best armor you have and equip your best weapon.

You don’t have to win this fight; just fight the enemies for around four or five minutes, and a cutscene will start. Make sure to stand by your allies so you don’t get crowded by the enemies.

Talk To Sara

Heny talking to Sara after a brutal battle.

After you have survived the attack, a cutscene will start, and you and the others will escape. Now, head over to Sara and talk to her. Talk to her about the man who raised you and taught Henry a thing or two about blacksmithing.

While you don’t have to ask every single question if you want to know more about the man who raised Henry, it is better to do so.

After talking to her about that, the quest would end, and instantly, the next main mission, The Lion’s Den, would start.
