Infinity Nikki Reveals New Dye Event for Version 1.3

In Version 1.3, Infinity Nikki players will get a sneak peek of the upcoming dye system via the new Bullquet Care Day event. While Infinity Nikki has only recently launched in December 2024, its developers have been quick to add new features to the game. Fans can look forward to the expansion of outfit slots in Version 1.3 and systems such as housing are also being worked on.

While it may not be as big as Version 1.2 in Infinity Nikki, the upcoming update will add a new dungeon, banners, and several new events for players to sink their teeth into. It will continue to expand the lore of Wishfield, the first region that Nikki visits in Miraland, as players will get to explore the cursed ruins of Queen Philomia in a new Exclusive Quest. However, Version 1.3 will also add a new event that will serve as a preview of the dye system.

Infold Games reveals major quality-of-life features and optimizations coming to Infinity Nikki in Version 1.3 and future updates.

Details of this event were unveiled on the official Infinity Nikki website, and given that it bears the name Bullquet Care Day, it’s obvious to fans who the main star will be. The Bullquet is a magical creature that can be discovered deep within the woods south of the Breezy Meadows. It can be groomed for a unique type of felt, though only one clothing item in Infinity Nikki uses it as a material. In the event, players will need to help the Bullquet shake off its torpor by giving it a makeover. From a gameplay perspective, this means Nikki will have to give the Bullquet a dye job.

Infinity Nikki: Bullquet Care Day Event

The event is set to last from February 25, 2025, to March 25, 2025, and includes “Care Notes” and “Color-changing Tales” — a set of three World Quests, and a set of three Random Quests. In addition to these individual stories, players can change the color of the Bullquet via a Soothing Aroma Vial. By following Aroma Formulas to add the correct ingredients, players will dye the Bullquet in a color of their choice. This potentially implies that players must craft certain dyes before applying them to an outfit in Infinity Nikki.

While Infold hasn’t given Infinity Nikki players an exact release date for the dye system itself, they can expect it to debut by the end of Spring 2025. It should be noted that the developers aim to release two regions annually and that upcoming features such as the housing system in Infinity Nikki are meant to be a part of its Wishfield patch cycle. Version 1.3 is set to launch on February 25, 2025.
