Fortnite Lawless brings a whole other kind of mayhem to the popular Battle Royale title, launching players into a heist-fueled season complete with high-security vaults to crack and Armored Transports to break into. This action-packed season also brings with it a roster of heist-themed weapons and gadgets to use against the competition, leading to some seriously epic moments.
However, whilst most of the attention will fall onto the vaults that players can force their way into, there are a few other secret locations that offer bountiful rewards. Whilst one of these areas is hidden within the rather uncontested location of Outlaw Oasis, another sits near the border of Shiny Shafts and has the potential to be even better than the last. How To Open The Shiny Shafts Secret Room in Fortnite
The secret room at Shiny Shafts is a guaranteed way to obtain some of the best loot in the game. It can be found within the hillside just south of the main point of interest. However, to gain entry, players must first locate and activate three separate pressure valves. While gaining access to the room is relatively simple, players will need to be quick, as failure to activate all pressure valves within a short window of each other will result in players having to restart the process.
First Pressure Valve Location
The very first pressure valve can be found on the far north of Shiny Shafts, just opposite a grind rail leading down to the southside. This pressure valve can easily be accessed if players drop in from the north side of Shiny Shafts, and once in proximity to it, players can simply press the interact button to turn the valve.
Second Pressure Valve Location
To reach the second valve, players can head along the grind rail directly in front of the first pressure valve, heading all the way into the hillside to the south side of Shiny Shafts. The second pressure valve will be waiting just at the very end of the grind rail, allowing players to turn the valve to progress to the next one.
Final Pressure Valve Location (& How To Access The Secret Room)
To reach the third and final valve, take a right turn from the second valve, ignoring the first set of stairs and jumping down to another set of stairs. Here, players will find the third and final valve adjacent to a set of double doors on the left side of the staircase. Turning this valve will unlock the double doors, granting players access to the secret room.
Within this room, players can find several Chests, Rare Chests, Gold Bars to harvest, and four total Slurp Kegs to give players both health and shield. This grants players a high chance of acquiring several Epic or Legendary weapons right from the get-go, along with free extra shield, allowing players to hold onto any healing items they may have found prior to accessing the area. Once looted, players can exit the room via the same set of double doors, or leave via the provided port-a-potty.
