Which NPCs Give You Items?

Hatsune Miku and a Fortnite character meeting The Brat.

Certain NPCs give you items in exchange for the Gold Bars you collect playing the game. These can be anything from weapons such as Holo Twister Rifles to usables such as the new Med Mist Smoke Grenades. Weapons are usually 300 Gold Bars, whereas usables can be bought for 125 Gold Bars instead.

Certain NPCs don’t have any weapons to sell, but can activate Rifts, which are teleportation portals that launch you high into the sky to reposition or reach other areas quickly.

Where Is Big Dill?

You can find Big Dill on the rooftop of a certain building in the north of Crime City. When you’re near, a text icon will be marked on the map, helping you pinpoint it. Find the house closest to the marker and climb up the stairs to go inside. Then, walk out the balcony and up the wall to meet Big Dill on the roof.

You can drop directly on the roof as well.

Big Dill drops you the new healing item, the Med Mist Smoke Grenade, for 125 Gold Bars.

Where Is Cassidy Quinn?

Cassidy Quinn stays inside a small house beside the main mansion in Lonewolf Lair. There’s only a single separate house left of the mansion’s front doors, so you won’t miss it.

Talking with Cassidy Quinn lets you buy the new weapon, Falcon Eye Sniper, for 300 Gold Bars.

Where Is Jade?

Jade can be found taking care of a small hut near the northernmost side of the Rainbow Fields. If you’re not sure where Rainbow Fields are, they’re located right below Seaport City and to the northeast of Masked Meadows. When you get nearby, she should show up on the minimap as a recruitable NPC.

Talking with Jade lets you buy a Holo Twister Rifle for 300 Gold Bars. You can also pay 800 Gold Bars to Hire Jade as a healer.

Where Is Joss?

Joss can be found in an underground experiment lab in Magic Mosses. To access the lab and the Black Market attached, just land in the forest and find the house that leads to Joss.

Joss sells a Rift and lets you buy stuff from the Black Market.

Where Is Keisha Cross?

Keisha Cross is in the same Rainbow Fields as Jade, in an area underground on the western side. To reach this underground area, you have to locate a specific house and then climb down the stairs to reach it. Once reached, you’ll be able to talk to Keisha Cross to get a Rift for 450 Gold Bars.

You’ll also be able to access the various items in the Black Market when you find Keisha Cross since she’s staying inside one. If you have any Dills or saved-up Gold Bars, you can get a variety of weapons from here, including Legendary versions of new weapons, such as the Legendary Falcon Eye Sniper, as well as the new Boons.

Where Is Kendo?

You can find Kendo alongside The Brat in Shogun’s Solitude. They’ll be out in the open, so you won’t need to pinpoint them.

The Brat and Kendo might fight NPCs occasionally or when you drop to them. Unfortunately, defeating these doesn’t result in any rewards.

Talking with Kendo lets you ask questions or buy a Sentinel Pump Shotgun for 300 Gold Bars. You can also choose to spend 800 Gold Bars to Hire Kendo as a Scout.

As a teammate, Kendo will periodically reveal nearby enemies and chests.

Where Is Shadow Blade Hope?

Where Is Skillet?

Skill is located inside a mountain on the northernmost end of Crime City. To reach him, locate an opening in the northern mountain. Once you get in, you can ride the rails to immediately reach Skillet, who’ll be in the Crime City Black Market.

Skillet lets you buy a Rift to get out for 450 Gold Bars. Apart from this, you can buy stuff from the Black Market he’s in, including weapons, Boons, and medical supplies.

Where Is The Brat?

The Brat is hanging out with Kendo, so you’ll find him in the same place as him, roaming about Shogun’s Solitude. There might occasionally be fire markers if they’re fighting another NPC, which can help you locate the two easily. Even if they aren’t there, just walking around the open area is enough to bump into The Brat.

If you talk to him, you can spend 300 Gold to get the Twinfire Auto Shotgun. You can also pay 450 Gold Bars instead to activate a Rift that sends you high up in the air, letting you reposition or fly away.

Where Is The Night Rose?

The Night Rose, unsurprisingly, can be found in Demon’s Dojo. Specifically, in the same area where players fought The Night Rose Boss in Season One. Instead of her usual demonic form, though, she now has her cleansed design.

The Night Rose sells Veiled Precision SMGs for 300 Gold, and you can also Hire The Night Rose for 800 Gold Bars as a recruit to aid you and your team in battle.

Where Is Valentina?

Where Is Vengeance Jones?

If you’ve played Fortnite Chapter 6’s Season One, Vengeance Jones is in a place that should be familiar to you. Alongside The Night Rose herself, Vengeance Jones resides inside the main hall where you once fought The Night Rose in Demon’s Dojo.

Upon interacting with him, Vengeance Jones gives you a few options.

  • Spend 300 Gold Bars to get a Holo Twister Rifle.
