Summary

  • A player found a unique way to commit a “perfect crime” in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
  • The game’s dynamic sandbox can lead to bizarre scenarios.
  • Using item physics in the game, players can get away with murder.

A lucky Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 player online has accidentally stumbled onto a unique way to commit what they describe as the “perfect crime.” Given the simplicity of this method, it would be pretty easy to replicate for other Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players, too.

Because Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is still a fairly new game, players are still finding themselves in unique situations that most other players will never have seen before. The sandbox for the game seems to be extremely dynamic, which can even result in bizarre glitches at times. Just recently, another Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 player lost a game of Dice to a corpse. As more gamers explore the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and push its sandbox to its limits, there are sure to be plenty more interesting things like this popping up in the future.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Pebbles is the Undersung Hero of the Game

Sticking with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s starter horse, Pebbles, may be one of the best decisions players can make in the game.

Redditor JamesCorvin shared an interesting Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 clip of their own, committing what they describe as the “perfect crime.” Heading into their inventory, they dropped a spade in front of them, which then fell and killed a chicken. Usually, killing someone else’s chicken would alert the guards in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, but as they didn’t technically deliver the killing blow, it doesn’t count as a crime in the eyes of the game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Player Accidentally Commits the “Perfect Crime”

Their plan isn’t totally foolproof, though. Watching the clip, the chicken’s body still has the “Steal” marker on it, so they would still have to employ some stealth in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in order to pick it up. However, this does raise some interesting questions going forward about how physics can be used to get away with murder in the game. It’s possible it could be used with heavier objects to kill stronger opponents, but this is likely something the community will inadvertently test as it plays over the next few months.

It’s going to be an exciting 2025 for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players. The release of the game has gone extremely smoothly, with sales high and the title itself in a great state. Now, Warhorse Studios can move on to deliver the three expansions promised for this year, which should bring tons of new content to the popular RPG. The developer hasn’t yet revealed many details about the upcoming expansions, but if they’re even half as good as the base game, then players are in for a treat.
