Here are the best perks in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2!

By the time you actually hit the credits, you could’ve spent 25 hours in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, or you could’ve been 125 hours. But with either playstyle, there are still some activities you might have missed. So what should you do after finishing Henry’s second adventure?

Max Out All Your Stats

Henry At His Peak

Luckily enough, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 lets you save after you finish the game, and throughout the entire last mission, you’ll have built up your stats even more and have new perk points to claim. But even then, there’s a good chance your Henry isn’t perfect just yet.

Maxing out all of Henry’s stats takes tonnes of effort, and requires an exorbitant amount of time doing just about everything the game has to offer. You might have skipped a whole weapon type on your first run through, or maybe you only did alchemy in the tutorial. Either way, there are sure to be ways Henry can still grow.

Explore Every Part Of Trosky And Kuttenberg

You Missed At Least One Patch Of Forest

The size of an open-world map has become a point of contention in the last decade or so, with people starting to realize that size isn’t everything. That’s why it’s so impressive that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 manages to have a giant world that feels appropriately stuffed with things to do, without being overwhelming.

There’s a good chance that when you left the Trosky map for Kuttenberg you didn’t look back, and you might not even know there’s a carriage west of Suchdol that takes you right back to the first map. The main story will take you between most settlements, but definitely not all, so you could have missed entire towns and villages your first time through.

Find Every Blacksmithing Sketch

Forge Away

In some games, it’s easy to get caught up in the constant chain of replacing your old weapons with new ones, but part of what makes weapon progression in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 so rewarding is how you can make better, new weapons yourself.

However, it’s not just a case of having the right materials, but also having each of the sketches to unlock the ability to craft them. While these patterns are often expensive, they are much cheaper than buying the weapon from a vendor, and the best part is that by making them you’ll level up your Craftsmanship, and usually end up with a better quality product.

Redo Romance Choices

Mutually Exclusive Scenes

While it’s not as in-depth as some of the other post-game goals, there are a few romance scenes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 that you can’t get in the same playthrough.

Who has your heart?

During the party at Von Bergow’s fortress, you’ll have the choice to woo either Black Bartosch or the Widow Johanka of Zhernov. But more importantly, you’ll only be able to complete a romance with Katherine or Hans Capon in separate playthroughs. If you want to see truly everything Henry’s heart has to offer, then you might have to reload some previous saves.

5

Complete Every Side Quest, Activity, And Task

If You Even Have The Option

Depending on how much time you spent in your first playthrough, this goal can be a widely more or less daunting task. The side quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 aren’t short, and not only that, but they often chain into each other too. Other than side quests, there’s also a selection of activities and tasks that, while shorter, can be easier to forget.

While it’s understandable to assume you might just be able to complete all the unfinished sidequests after reloading into your save after finishing, it unfortunately isn’t that simple. There are two major points in the game where certain side quests will be removed due to changes in the world caused by story events. So if you weren’t too bothered by completing them first time round, you might need to reload a much earlier save to see them to completion.

4

Beat Every Opponent At Dice

Roll (Or Cheat) Your Way To The Top

Saint Antiochus' Die from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

There are plenty of in-depth minigames in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, some of which that could even constitute their own game, but one of the most fun is Dice. In all corners of the map, there’s a Dice player you can challenge, so it’s a tough task to challenge yourself with beating them all.

You can also use this task as a way for funding some of the more expensive endgame goals, since you can make a pretty penny if you make the right rolls. Collecting all the rogue dice around the map is a fun side-goal as well, but if you want the best way to exploit the system, then you can grind and get a full set of six Saint Antiochus’ Die so you never lose a game again.

3

Find Every Alchemy Recipe

Just A Pinch

Depending on the type of player you were in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you might have been crafty enough to make all of your potions throughout your playthrough, and thoroughly leveled up your alchemic expertise. Or you could’ve done alchemy once in the prologue, and looted or bought all your subsequent potions.

You can’t handle their strongest potions.

Even if you were the first type of player, there’s still a solid chance that you didn’t find all of the alchemy recipes available. While you don’t need the recipes to make the potion (unlike forging), it’s still a satisfying challenge to fill up your recipe book.

2

Learn Every Skill

Teachers All Across The Land

One goal that’s easy to ignore on your first playthrough is learning everything from every skill teacher. There’s an easy explanation for missing them before credits, since a lot of the time they’re just too expensive to justify. That’s why going back and paying for all of these teacher’s lessons is a perfect goal for the post-game.

Not only is this a great way to make sure that Henry has access to every skill during combat, but it’ll also help with building up his other stats too. These teachers are hidden all around the map, so just finding all of them is a challenge in itself.

1

Get The Best Ending

Your Parents…. Might Be Proud?

KCD2 Henry Looking At His Parents Leaving

While it might not be that clear during your first playthrough of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s story, there are in fact multiple endings, and by the time you work that out, it might be too late, and you’re locked into the bad ending.

If you want Henry’s parents to be proud of him, you’ll need to replay certain events and make the honourable (and usually significantly more difficult) choice. You don’t have to always make the right decision, since if Henry mostly makes the best choices, and is repentant of his bad choices, then you’ll still end up with the best ending.
