February 2025’s hero skin survey caught the eye of many players around the world, as it showcased plenty of exciting new concepts right around the same time as the Season 15 launch. While it’s not guaranteed that all of them will appear in the game at some point, there are certainly plenty of amazing concepts to admire, each of which brings a different aesthetic to the various heroes and villains of Overwatch 2.
Elemental Champions
Sun, Snow, Earth, & Rock
Concept Name |
Elemental Champions |
---|---|
Featured Characters (Left – Right) |
Illari, Mei, Lifeweaver, Venture |
There’s always something fun about classic elemental concepts in video games. These Overwatch concepts are particularly interesting due to each recipient’s connection to the element they are representing. Illari is an Inti Warrior who wields the power of the sun, posing the perfect concept of a fire elemental. Mei is well known for her connection to Ecopoint: Antarctica and her array of snowy, icy powers — making her the perfect ice elemental.
Lifeweaver utilizes life and nature with his technology to shoot volleys of thorns at his opponents, create platforms in the shape of flower petals, and spawn a giant tree of healing — this makes him the perfect earth elemental. Lastly, Venture is well-known for their love of archeology, a giant drill that mines rocks in many emotes and highlights intros, and the ability to burrow through the ground. For this reason, Venture is the perfect rock/stone elemental.
Bee Universe Roadhog & Bee Universe Brigitte
Un-BEE-lievably Fun, Bright, & Adorable
Concept Name |
Bee Universe |
---|---|
All Characters in the Complete Concept: |
Roadhog, Tracer, Brigitte, D.Va |
While all of the Bee Universe concepts were endearing, to say the least, Tracer already has quite a few cosmetics in similar colors, and D.Va already has a different existing bee skin. However, Roadhog and Brigitte certainly stand out, so if they all aren’t to be released as a bundle, these two are definitely the most deserving.
Roadhog generally misses out on a lot of fun and bright themes when it comes to skins, other than the odd addition such as Pachimari. This Bee concept would be a perfect addition and is full of little details to admire, such as the bee-like mask, the giant adorable bee on his belt buckle, and the BEE-AST graphic on his shirt — absolute perfection. Brigitte, on the other hand, has some really fun details where sections of her armor have been reworked to look like honey. In addition to this, she also has adorable little bees on her boots and a soft pastel pink hair color to change things up.
Futurewear Venture
A Fun New Concept For A DPS Who Desperately Needs More Cosmetics
Concept Name |
Futurewear |
---|---|
All Characters in the Complete Concept: |
Widowmaker, Junker Queen, Venture, Genji |
Venture has had a pretty rough time in the cosmetics department, only gaining a couple of new skins since their release. However, the February skin survey contained some new ideas that are sure to excite Venture enthusiasts. One such concept is the Futurewear Venture concept.

Overwatch 2: Every Crossover Collab Event Skin
Overwatch 2 has featured a number of different crossover collaborations, dressing heroes up as iconic characters from these franchises.
Futurewear Venture sees the lovable DPS all dressed up in an almost cyberpunk or techwear-like yellow jacket with little horns, a black face mask, and heavy boots. In further detail, this Venture skin also appears to have cybernetic elements around their joints and armor, which really help to sell that whole futuristic look.
Spring Fairy Ashe
A Beautiful Skin…And A Very Pretty Omnic!
Concept Name |
Spring Fairy |
---|---|
All Characters in the Complete Concept: |
Lifeweaver, Sombra, Echo, Ashe |
There’s no doubt about it; every single one of the Spring Fairy concepts for each hero is absolutely gorgeous, showing off soft pastel colors and a fun, whimsical, fantasy theme. However, one of them in particular stands out slightly in comparison to the others — Ashe. And why? For no reason other than B.O.B.!
Half of the fun of Ashe cosmetics is getting to see the fun ideas that B.O.B. takes on to match her with each and every concept. In this scenario, Ashe certainly has a beautiful outfit, and endearing little butterflies in her seemingly perfected hairstyle. However, B.O.B. certainly steals the show completely, equipped with his own mini fairy wings and pretty flower crown. Honestly, between the two of them in this fairy concept, it’s hard to decide which one of them is more beautiful!
Court Of Roses
Four Skins Full Of Rosy, Royal Vibes
Concept Name |
Court of Roses |
---|---|
Featured Characters (Left – Right) |
Lifeweaver, Ashe, Brigitte, Doomfist |
The Court of Roses cosmetics feature a ‘royal rose’ sort of theme for a variety of heroes. Lifeweaver features a flower crown spiked with thorns (perhaps his own?), blue hair tied back in a ponytail, and fancy/formal royal-ish attire. Ashe keeps the essence of her gang leader and cowgirl influences perfectly in this concept through the rich brown and red colors used. Elegant additions such as the flowers and feathers on her hat — and wavy, rosy red hair — complete the aesthetic.
Brigitte gets a very royal, beautiful redesign of her armor patterns, complete in fancy gold and white colors. She has lovely little details such as Rose decals on her armor, the helmet obscuring her eyes for a different look, and her high, flowy ponytail. Lastly, Doomfist appears to be plated up in full body armor consisting of browns, whites, and gold to give the Talon leader a royal look. The rose on his chest and bright red arm tie the theme in perfectly with his character, while the various horns and spikes keep his threatening aura.
Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse
How Can Fans Pick Just One?!
Concept Name |
Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse |
---|---|
Featured Characters (Left – Right) |
Ramattra, Doomfist, Hazard, Ana |
Concepts that work well among multiple characters have a big appeal to fans, as many players enjoy matching skins with their friends and teammates. From the overall concept bundles shown in the February 2025 OW2 skin survey, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse concepts are arguably some of the best ideas shown off.

Overwatch 2: 10 Best Brigitte Skins, Ranked
The Swedish mechanic and daughter of Torbjorn, Brigitte, has some of the sleekest skins in Overwatch 2, and these are just a few of the best ones.
It’s hard to tell which skin out of these is the best because they’re all equally as detailed and interesting. On another note, all of these characters could do with some more cosmetics, so the recipients are well-chosen, too. From the semi-matching full-body armor styles to the great color combinations, these skins look great both individually and together — being able to rep them all while playing on the same team would create a very visually intimidating and fresh lineup.
Void Walker Venture
Venture’s Cosmetics Game Is Seriously Stepping Up
Concept Name |
Void Walker |
---|---|
All Characters in the Complete Concept: |
Sigma, Echo, Venture, Reaper, Widowmaker |
The Void Walker cosmetic concepts feature a bright, cybernetic robot take on several familiar characters, including Venture. Arguably, this is the most unique and interesting potential Venture cosmetic that fans have seen to date. In this outfit, Venture can be seen wearing a bright pink hooded jacket with bunny-like ears, a futuristic take on their drill, and a fun variation on their backpack and tools.
Not only does Venture finally have the chance to wield something bright, fun, and eye-catching in the Void Walker concept, but they have also been reimagined in some robotic or omnic-like form, being one of the first ideas for this character that does something different.
Lunar Eclipse Illari
The Sun Becomes The Moon
Concept Name |
Lunar Eclipse |
---|---|
All Characters in the Complete Concept: |
Illari, Ramattra, Reinhardt, Pharah |
As the name indicates, the Lunar Eclipse concepts provide a bunch of moon-themed cosmetics. While they are all quite eye-catching, Illari’s stands out among the others. As a character who is known for wielding the power of the sun, the lunar aesthetic is a fun play on her character.
There are a lot of little details that could be added to further enhance such a concept, making it even more popular among fans of the beloved Support. Illari’s golden sunlight from her weapon can be reworked into a glowing white moonlight, she could have slightly altered sound effects to enhance the ‘polar opposite’ idea, and by throwing in a unique Ultimate voice line, it could tie everything together.
Magical Spellbinder Lifeweaver & Magical Spellbinder Illari
Magicians Of Flowers And Thorns….And Sun Bomb Explosions?
Concept Name |
Magical Spellbinder |
---|---|
All Characters in the Complete Concept: |
Lifeweaver, Illari, Reaper, Tracer |
The Magical Spellbinder skins are a fun, eye-catching concept that dresses familiar Overwatch characters up in bright colors and exaggerated costumes. In particular, the Lifeweaver and Illari concepts stand out — Lifeweaver because it so brilliantly suits his character, and Illari because it is quite the contrast from her personality.
Lifeweaver’s concept features bright, eye-catching blues that pop against his formal clothing. It’s the perfect mix of wacky and whimsical and suits his characters and the technology that fuels his abilities very well. Illari, on the other hand, is known for being a bit of an angsty grump, due to carrying the weight of her past. For this reason, it’s nice to see her step out of the Inti Warrior costume and into something totally different, slightly out there, yet tied together with a color palette that really suits her.
