WoW Cataclysm Classic: Dragon Soul Quest Walkthrough

WoW Cataclysm Classic: Dragon Soul Quest Walkthrough

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic has entered its fourth and final phase before the next expansion. Patch 4.4.2 includes various new features, such as dungeons, better gear, and a new quest line. This is only for players of level 85 or higher and leads players through a storyline where Deathwing waits along with a few of his powerful friends.

World of Warcraft: 20 Rarest Mounts In The Game, Ranked

There are tons of mounts available in World of Warcraft, but some are significantly rarer to see than others.

This isn’t about attunement, which hasn’t really been a thing in WoW since the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic

expansion. The questline isn’t required to enter the raid, but players can follow the compelling questline and join some of Azeroth’s most powerful and famous heroes while they explore three new dungeons.

The only requirement for this quest is that the character be maxed out at level 85. Characters should have a gear score of level 359 or better, and the gear in the dungeons is 378.

The End Time

Optional Start That Also Includes A Free Port

  • Different starting points for Horde and Alliance

Players can begin a quest line that ports them directly to Nozdormu at the beginning of the End Time dungeon. Players who would prefer a port can start “The End Time” questline.

  • Horde: Speak to Ziradormi in Grommash Hold in the center of Orgrimmar to start The End Time.
  • Alliance: Seek out Coridormi in the Mage Tower, located in the southwestern corner of Stormwind City.

All that’s required to finish this quest is to speak to Nozdormu, who is waiting immediately in front of the entrance to the dungeon. Speak to him to complete the quest and move on to the next one, Murozond.

The quest to kill Murozund is available to the player even if they haven’t taken the initial quest from their capital city. It’s possible to enter the dungeon from the Caverns of Time and get the quest from him without the prerequisite quest. The next one, however, is mandatory.

Murozond

Kill The Final Boss Of The End Time

  • Players get five chances to turn back time.

The adventuring party has to fight their way through two famous heroes, chosen randomly from the famous leaders from both Horde and Alliance lore, until meeting the corrupted dragon Murozund. It’s a tough fight that involves an interesting mechanic that players have to use strategically at certain times to turn back time a few precious seconds. There are only five charges for this, so use them sparingly.

After the dragon has fallen, Nozdormu appears on the field, and players can speak to him and complete the quest. He then gives them the option of moving on to The Well of Eternity, where the quest continues.

The Well Of Eternity

Experience The Power Of The Highborne

  • Night Elf lore and an audience with the Queen.

All that’s required to complete this quest is to speak to Nozdormu, who is waiting at the beginning of this dungeon to guide the player to their next adventure. Players then move into an ancient Highborne courtyard to aid Illidan in his dangerous quest.

Unlike The End Time and Hour of Twilight, The Well Of Eternity doesn’t have a separate entrance. The only way to get in is by using the port offered by Nozdormu or queuing in the dungeon finder.

In Unending Numbers

Witness The Invasion Of Azeroth

  • The Legion is released on the world in exchange for arcane power.

Illidan Stormrage returns, this time as an ally in the fight against the Burning Legion and Queen Azshara, along with hordes of demons, satyrs, and Highborne minions that have traded their souls for the power of the Legion. Players have to follow Illidan through a perilous courtyard filled with enemies to free the Dragon Soul, and the sheer multitude of demons gives this quest its name.

Disable the three portals, which look like groups of giant green crystals floating near the ground, and defeat Peroth’arn. Speak to Illidan again to finish the quest and move on to the next challenge.

The Argument For World of Warcraft to Add More Plunderstorm Maps

World of Warcraft’s Plunderstorm event has been great so far, but it would be even better if it featured a plethora of unique maps to fight through.

The Vainglorious

Defeat The Queen

  • Not only the power of Azshara but also her loyal Highborne minions.

Nozdormu is waiting for the players again, this time near the Well of Eternity, and it’s time to face none other than Azshara herself. This fight isn’t intended to defeat her but just distract and weaken her, so she’s driven back to the Twisting Nether, even if only temporarily.

Once she’s grown tired of the night’s entertainment, players can turn in the quest to Nozdormu, who then gives them another quest. This time, players have to face a familiar enemy that they have probably already killed in a previous expansion.

The Path To The Dragon Soul

Rescued From The Clutches Of Mannoroth

  • Defeat one of the most powerful minions of the Legion.

The last quest players will get from Nozdormu in this sequence is The Path to the Dragon Soul. Continuing in the same fashion as the previous requests, players are required to kill the final boss of the dungeon to free the Dragon Soul and allow Nozdormu to take it.

Mannoroth is also the boss in a one-room raid in Hellfire Penninsula, where he is also one of the Legion’s most powerful minions and a complex mechanic is the only way to destroy him. He only needs to be weakened and returned to the nether, just like Azshara, rather than killed.

This time, players will turn this quest in to Illidan instead of Nozdormu, and he doesn’t have the follow-up. It’s at this time that Chromie, your old friend from the Bronze Dragonflight, has the next quest that leads into the third dungeon.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Custom Campaign Mod Remakes World of Warcraft Starting Zone

A Baldur’s Gate 3 fan recreates one of the most iconic starting zones from World of Warcraft as a custom campaign in the critically acclaimed CRPG.

The Hour Of Twilight

Chromie Had To Appear At Some Point

  • Another dragon aspect steps in to take over.

Chromie can transport the player to the Hour of Twilight, where Thrall is waiting at the beginning of the long, frozen path that leads to Wyrmrest Temple. Speak to him to finish this quest, and he’ll offer the player the last and final step.

This quest doesn’t start immediately after the player takes the next quest. Thrall has to be prompted to move, so don’t forget to speak to him before getting started.

To Wyrmrest!

Guide Thrall To The Final Fight

  • An escort quest that leads to the heart of Dragonblight.

Thrall gives the player this quest after they’ve already spoken to him as directed by Chromie. Players have to guide Thrall through the deadly gauntlet of ice that leads south from the invasion point of the Old Gods and their minions and fight three bosses to save the powerful Shaman so he can survive and fulfill his destiny.

This completes the quest chain, and all three dungeons are now open. It’s worth running them again to get some better gear and more experience before trying the new raid, which also involves some famous heroes and has its own lore and backstory.
