The identity of the Strange Man in the Red Dead Redemption series has been a mystery for years, but that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating.
While the great secret here is a lot of fun for first-time players, it’s essential to know where this location is so Arthur Morgan can experience everything that Red Dead Redemption 2 has to offer, and so that players
Aberdeen Pig Farm Location in RDR2
The Aberdeen Pig Farm can be found in the North area of Lemoyne, easily found by going up from the ‘O’ in ‘Lemoyne’ on the map, to the North West of Bluewater Marsh. Once players have discovered the Aberdeen Pig Farm, it will be marked on their map, and players will be greeted by a rather overweight gentleman sitting on his porch who will beckon players to come inside and have dinner with him and his wife.
What Happens in the Aberdeen Pig Farm?
If players choose to hitch their horse and follow Bray Aberdeen, the overly-friendly man will sit at the dining table and eventually ask Arthur to check upstairs for his wife, Tammy, who is getting ready upstairs. If Arthur decides to check on Tammy, they will catch her in the middle of changing, where she will throw a few flirtatious and manipulative comments at Arthur, who can also discover a secret within the room on the right where she is in, as by the bedside table, there is a family portrait – but the parents’ heads are crossed out.
Arthur can then head downstairs to let Bray know that Tammy will be down soon, or he can take a detour to the Armoire opposite Tammy’s room to open it and discover a skull and some bones – to which confronting either Tammy or Bray will have them nonchalantly reply that it’s the bones of their mother that they couldn’t bring themselves to bury.
Once back at the dining table, if Arthur sits down, he will be given a nice dinner along with a drink that begins to make him experience the same screen filters as being drunk. Arthur can be persuaded to have another drink, or he can leave.
If players leave, they can return at a later date to meet the Aberdeens again, but if they return in the Epilogue the place will be abandoned.
Deciding to have another drink will cause Arthur to fall unconscious, as the alcohol Tammy had been providing him with was in fact poison. Arthur will then wake up in a ditch with a body on top of him, and all of his money will be missing.
How to Get Your Money Back from the Aberdeen Pig Farm
Once players wake up in a ditch, they can head back to the Aberdeen Pig Farm where Bray and Tammy will be hostile the moment they see Arthur. Regardless of whether they hogtie or kill the Aberdeens, they will always attack. Tammy will be downstairs with a knife, and Bray will be upstairs with a gun. Only Tammy can be hogtied, as Bray is too big.
After taking care of the Aberdeen twins (couple?) players can look opposite the front door to find a portrait of their mother, where inspecting the portrait will allow them to pull it down and discover a hidden safe in the wall where all their money is stashed.
There are also a few other Aberdeen Farm secrets:
- Head upstairs and shoot the floor panel closest to the banister to find jewelry that can be picked up.
- On the West side of the house, there’s a hidden shed where players can find a lockbox that has over $60. (Only accessible during the Aberdeen Big Farm encounter)
Alternatively, players can go back to the Aberdeen Pig Farm to kill Tammy and Bray while leaving their money behind the portrait of their mother so that they can reclaim the money in the Epilogue section of the game.
Looting the Aberdeen Pig Farm counts as a Homestead for the Breaking and Entering achievement/trophy.
Aberdeen Pig Farm, Explained
The Aberdeen Pig Farm might seem like a small and humble ranch belonging to a husband and wife, but the truth is far darker. Bray and Tammy Aberdeen are not husband and wife, but brother and sister. The two fell in love with each other, but their mother and father disapproved of their relationship and so the two decided to murder their parents.

Red Dead Redemption 2: 8 Stranger Missions, Ranked on How Strange They Actually Are
While Arthur Morgan can meet plenty of strange characters in Red Dead Redemption 2, this selection of oddities certainly takes the cake.
It’s known that the two killed their mother and father due to a letter that Bray can be found writing a letter if Arthur meets them for a second time after rejecting their meal. The letter details how Bray and Tammy kept telling their parents to leave them alone, and as a result of their meddling, they killed them and fed them to the pigs – but they kept the bones of their mother as a trophy, or a reminder. It seemed that the Aberdeens didn’t stop killing people after their mother and father, and the two only grew stronger together as they lured in unsuspecting passersby with a hot meal, good company, and Tammy’s seduction – where they would poison them with alcohol, rob them, and throw them in the same ditch where they left their parents.
