With Many Life Lessons Under His Belt, Bakugo is a Somewhat Changed Man
Ever since Bakugo Katsuki was a toddler, he had exceptional dreams of becoming the Number One Pro Hero who surpasses All Might—upon the discovery of his Explosion Quirk, Bakugo, unfortunately, experienced a massive ego boost that would skyrocket his popularity with adults and children alike.
Needless to say… I’ll be a hero that surpasses even you!
Unfortunately, this massive ego boost would give him a foul and abrasive personality, and he would often commit deeds that were unworthy of that of a hero, which had been bullying the Quirkless, such as Midoriya Izuku. Although Bakugo had high aspirations, he first needed a severe reality check, as although he may have been exceptionally powerful in the town of Masutafu, he was undoubtedly proven wrong when the Sludge villain kidnaped him.
With that, Bakugo had undergone a series of thought-changing situations that would steer him closer to becoming an individual worthy of becoming a Pro Hero. As mentioned above, Bakugo always dreamed of becoming the strongest Pro Hero, one that would surpass even All Might; however, although his dreams are courageous and he had the Quirk that would quickly boost him up in rating in the Hero Billboard Chart, it was his personality that really needed work.
- Stronger villains, such as Tomura Shigaraki and the Sludge villain, consistently kidnapped Bakugo.
- Bakugo experienced guilt and hatred from everyone who was against him for being the person who “ended All Might.”
