Collecting all the Totem Fragments can be a bit of work, but it’s totally worth it considering how activating the Totem’s special buffs can change up the gameplay in Avowed. Totem of Rightful Ownership is one of the first side quests players will take on in Dawnshore, which involves hunting down Woedica’s Totem’s Fragments. Most of the fragments are at far-off locations, or simply in plain sight. The Broken Crown Jewel Totem Fragment is among the latter, and here’s where you can find it.

Where to Find the Broken Crown Jewel Totem Fragment in Avowed

Players can find one of the first fragments, the Broken Crown Jewel, for the Totem of Rightful Ownership quest in Sanza’s Emporium in Avowed. The shop can be found after entering the Paradis Hightown and heading down the market streets until you find a red building on the left. Enter the building, and you’ll meet Sanza, the treasure maps and miscellaneous vendor in Dawnshore.

Although it’s not mandatory, you should speak to him as, at the end of the conversation, you’ll add another important quest called Mapping the Living Lands to your adventure book. Anyway, there’s a door to the left of Sanza that you can open to enter another section of the store.

On the table right in front, you can grab the Broken Crown Jewel

Totem Fragment. There’s also an Artifact Observations note next to the Totem Fragment that you can grab to gain some insight into the artifact.

Location of Paradis High Town Avowed

As discussed before, players can find Sanza’s Emporium inside the Paradis Hightown market in Avowed. However, if you’ve just started the game and reached Paradis after completing the prologue of the game, you won’t be able to enter it directly. The Paradis Hightown entrance will be closed and soldiers will direct you to enter through the main entrance.

The Paradis isn’t completely explorable yet, as you’ll need to enter Paradis through the main entrance and trigger a series of events that will lead to the Envoy’s resurrection and get “An Untimely End” quest. Once you’ve attained the quest, you’ll be able to enter the Paradis Hightown, visit Sanza’s Emporium, and get the Woedica’s Broken Crown Jewel fragment to progress the Totem of Rightful Ownership quest in Avowed.
