Should You Doom Solace Keep In Avowed
Early Consequences
To destroy Solace Keep means that Kostya could be alive or dead, as it depends on your choice and how you want to tell your story. Upon meeting the Councilor, players can agree with him and destroy the settlement, or kill him and destroy it themselves regardless. Not many will agree with your choices, especially Marius and Giatta who had her home burned to the ground.
When players return to Solace Keep, it won’t be available as an interest point anymore. Everyone will be living in tents near the burning settlement, and you will lose most merchants and might get locked out of some side quests in Avowed if you haven’t finished them. Some will still be available, like the bounty master and the forge master. If Kostya is still alive, he will be nowhere to be found and Mihala will be relieved but quickly become sad and angry about burning Solace Keep. On the other hand, if he dies, then Mihala will express her anger and worries about the state of the settlement.
