Sekai No Owari’s “The Peak” Reaches New Milestone
A total of 67 Million Views on YouTube
One Piece is a long-running anime with many openings by now. Its 25th anime opening, titled The Peak, or in Japanese, Saiko Totatsuten, is one of the newest openings for the series.
This anime opening was used during the Wano arc of One Piece, and was only utilized for around 15 episodes, which isn’t much in One Piece standards.
What’s interesting is that this was the first One Piece anime opening to showcase Luffy in his newest iconic form, Gear 5. This anime opening is also currently the shortest in One Piece, being only 1 minute and 30 seconds long.
Nevertheless, this opening made by Sekai No Owari has reached a new milestone on YouTube. Currently, it has broken into 67 million views in total, which is extremely impressive.
This anime opening can be watched here on YouTube, posted by the group who produced it Sekai No Owari themselves:
Who Are Sekai No Owari?
A Japanese Band
Sekai No Owari are the people behind One Piece’s 25th opening, The Peak. Sekai No Owari is a Japanese pop group that was formed back in 2005, 20 years ago
Originally from Tokyo, this group has released a lot of music over their career, right now having 7 albums. This band is made up of four members, Nakajin, the band leader and guitarist, Fukase, the lead vocalist, Saori, the pianist, and DJ Snake, the DJ of the group.
Besides One Piece, they also worked on the Crayon Shin-Chan movie and Mary To Majo no Hana.
In the future, many One Piece fans, and anime fans in general, would definitely love it if they worked on more anime openings as, for now, they don’t really have many.
