In NASCAR 25, many of the new elements in the Career Mode were developed with feedback and guidance from NASCAR drivers, including 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Ty Majeski. Majeski notes that the Career Mode brings an accurate perspective of how drivers rise through the ranks of NASCAR in real life, including the choices that must be made to improve vehicles and make them race-ready.

Although NASCAR 25 has simulation elements reminiscent of iRacing, the studio brought in talent that has many years of racing game expertise with the best NASCAR games. The developers of NASCAR 25 include staff that previously worked on NASCAR Racing 2003, NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona, and various titles from the beloved NASCAR Thunder series.

Unfortunately, fans wanting to catch up on other NASCAR games before the release of NASCAR 25 this fall are out of luck on modern platforms. Several NASCAR games were delisted at the end of 2024, including NASCAR 15, NASCAR 21: Ignition, and multiple NASCAR Heat games. NASCAR Arcade Rush is among one of the few games that wasn’t affected by the delisting.
