Few foes can stand up to the power of your doppelgangers when summoned normally, and this Heat Action only increases the damage you can inflict with your copies.

While the initial version of Cutlass Heave-Ho seems average at best, the attack becomes more important as you upgrade Majima’s overall damage, allowing you to start battles with a bang.
Initiating the fight by weakening your foes from a slight distance is a huge advantage, and this ability doesn’t require that long of a charge time, especially compared to your pistols, or Mad Dog’s spinning knife attack. This is your most reliable source of quick, risk-free damage.

However, once you fire a charged pistol shot, you can hit Y/Triangle again to perform this powerful Heat Action, which will dish out massive damage, usually defeating up to five enemies as long as they’re eitherweakened mini-boss enemies or relatively vulnerable rank-and-file foes.
