With Post Malone’s Murder Circus coming to an end in Hunt: Showdown 1896, it seemed like Bounty Clash was also put on hiatus, until very recently when Crytek acknowledged the game mode was removed to undergo some changes, and that it would return with a new schedule format afterward.
Thankfully, the maintenance behind the scenes for Bounty Clash is over, and Crytek has come up with a new schedule for this action-packed and fast-paced game mode, giving the community that extra reason to play Hunt: Showdown 1896 on weekends in a different way. Here is the upcoming Bounty Clash schedule for Hunt: Showdown 1896.

Bounty Clash Schedule for Hunt: Showdown 1896
Bounty Clash will now kick off every Friday at 11:30 AM PT / 2:30 PM ET / 9:30 PM CEST, lasting for 3 days. Therefore, it will end on Mondays at the same time. This gives players just enough time during the weekend to enjoy the intense combat in Bounty Clash while also not stealing away the player base from the primary Contract game mode.
What Is Bounty Clash in Hunt: Showdown 1896?
For newcomers to Hunt: Showdown 1896, or for those who have not played the game in a long time, Bounty Clash won’t sound familiar. This is a new game mode that is played on a very small portion of the map with simplified rules.
The entire session of a Bounty Clash match is played within a single compound of a random map, where players cannot leave the compound’s surroundings. The match kicks off with a dead boss inside the compound. The goal for the players is to banish the boss, take the bounty, and extract it. It should be obvious how chaotic it would be if 12 players spawned around a compound and all moved in for the bounty at once, and that’s why this mode is so popular.
Bounty Clash is all about intense gunfights, as it sends players into the action right after they spawn. It’s almost the reverse of the game’s primary mode, where players try to use a tactical approach towards the situation and lurk around in the bushes.
Similar to Random Contract, players can join as solo players, or in groups of two or three, but there is no option to change the formation of opposing players, which means facing a trio is always a possibility.

Bounty Clash Rewards in Hunt: Showdown 1896
The good news for hunters is that there is no difference between the rewards for Bounty Clash and Random Contract modes. Even though Bounty Clash is played on a smaller map and only takes 15 minutes to conclude, Crytek has not reduced the rewards for it. Instead, the bonus points for extracting both bounties are slightly higher than that of Random Contract. After all, it’s still difficult to win in Bounty Clash.
Solo players will receive a bonus of 725 points for collecting the bounty and extracting it successfully. This bonus is 600 points in Random Contract. That being said, leaving the compound in Bounty Clash without drawing attention is almost impossible. Unfortunately, there are no Bounty Clash-specific challenges available for the weekend, and some of the Week 2 challenges do require hunters to play Random Contract.
