The Fasnacht Day event is one of the most popular seasonal events in Fallout 76. This event sees players heading to Helvetia at the top of every hour to help a handful of strange yet oddly charming robots complete their march through the town. Players will need to take on enemies, collect various random items, and ensure that the robots make it through the march in one piece to get a handful of nice rewards.
While the standard rewards are nice, most players participate in this event hoping to get one of the many rare Fasnacht Masks. This guide will go through all there is to know about completing this limited-time event.

Fallout 76: 7 Tips For Completing Fasnacht Day
Players who want to get the most out of Fasnacht Day in Fallout 76 can do so by following these simple tips.
Preparing For The March
At the top of every hour, Fasnacht Day will automatically begin. Since this is a public event, it is a free event to travel to. Once there, players will need to help 5 robots prepare for the march. There are a total of 8 robots. 5 of which will be selected at random for each event. To start the event, you need to approach the Master of Ceremonies. Once he has been spoken to, you’ll need to find and help the 5 robots. The robots, their location, and what they need can be seen in the table below:
Robot |
Location |
Requirements |
---|---|---|
Cheerful Beekeeper |
The Honey House |
Kill The 3 Honey Beasts That Spawn |
Convivial Historian |
The Helvetia Museum |
Hand In 10 Old Fasnacht Steins |
Gleeful Butcher |
The First Floor Of The Red Hotel |
Hand In 12 Intestines |
Happy Candlemaker |
The Post Office |
Hand In 10 Beeswax |
Jolly Baker |
Freyja’s Haus Restaurant |
Hand In 20 Radtoad Eggs |
Joyous Musician |
The Band Stand |
Play Musical Instruments |
Jubilant Decorator |
The Town Hall |
Place 4 Decorations In The Barn |
Merry Woodsman |
Outside The Church |
Hand In 50 Wood |
Once you have completed the objectives for a robot, it will make its way to the place where the march begins. The march starts outside the Post Office. After all 5 robots have been helped and have made their way to the start point, the Master Of Ceremonies will come over and announce the start of the march.
Protecting The Robots
Once the march has started, you’ll need to defend the robots against a total of 3 attacks. The first attack happens at the end of the bridge, right next to Freyja’s Haus Restaurant. A horde of Radtoads will attempt to take down the robots. They come from all sides, so you’ll need to work alongside the other players on the server to cover all areas.
After the Radtoads have been killed, the robots will carry on with their march. The next attack takes place right in the center of the town. This is the trickiest attack to deal with. A couple of waves of Super Mutants, Super Mutant Suiciders, and Mutant Hounds will come charging at the robots. The Mutant Hounds can inflict a surprising amount of damage on the robots. Not only that, but the Super Mutant Suiciders release a deadly explosion if they get close enough to any of the robots. Jumping on a nearby rooftop is a good way of spotting the enemies before they have a chance to get to the robots.
Just like the first attack, once the enemies have been taken care of, the Master Of Ceremonies will continue to lead the robots through the town. The next stop is the final one. The robots will march to the bonfire outside the church. As they approach, wolves, insects, and a boss enemy will spawn. The boss enemy varies but will always be a 1-star legendary enemy. After the final onslaught of enemies has been dispatched, the Master Of Ceremonies will give a little speech, and then you’ll need to light the bonfire. Lighting the bonfire completes the event.
