The map isn’t difficult to navigate despite the cluttered housing, and the Executioner fight will provide good XP and additional loot drops for this stage of the game. Best Act 2 Farming Maps
Keth & Mawdun Mine
The difficulty of map clearing steps up in Act 2, and Path of Exile 2 introduces some more tricky mob enemies in several maps. Players might want to spend some time in Act 2 making sure that their defenses are up to the challenge before progressing further.
Keth is a good map to farm, with the optional boss Kabala the Constrictor Queen being relatively easy to defeat. The Jungle Ruins & Utzaal

The Jungle Ruins is a good place to prepare near the start of the act. The map contains the Mighty Silverfist optional boss, as well as a couple of other minor bosses and named elite enemies.

The progression curve is designed to keep players investing in their character until they get to higher-tier maps with a completed build, so early endgame maps themselves are a good place to farm XP.
Players can use currency to upgrade Waystones with magic and rare modifiers. The best modifiers to look for are prefixes like increased mob density or 20% more elite enemies, as these will ensure more monster spawns, and thus more XP from each map.

Excavation Time
Players will start to see excavations spawning in maps before the endgame, but it’s once they get there that these can be focused on as a farming activity. Completing excavations in maps until players meet the NPC Dannig will allow them to access Logbook Expeditions, and these are where the farming opportunities arise.

Similar to Breach events, Simulacrums is another endgame activity that might be even more efficient as an XP farm. The waves of a simulacrum event spawn huge numbers of mob enemies, and as long as a player can clear the enemies out, that means they’re worth a lot of XP.
Farming this activity tends to be focused more on generating Simulacrum Splinters and loot than XP, as players who can reliably take on the higher levels of Simulacrum events will often have a finished build. Players who are on their journey to finalizing their build can still take on the first tiers of the event for some good XP returns, though.
