It’s not Starfield, but it is a longer game than the last one, especially if you want to finish all the crew storylines.
From enemies to crew mates, there are plenty of people that will come to touch your life as a Sleeper. Some have more of an impact than others and will definitely win your attention and even affection with their charm and deeply written lives.
Juni
Juni is one of the earliest characters you can meet, and the challenge to getting to know her is that you’ll need to put your trust in her before even knowing her story. It doesn’t help that she’s very secretive and is ready to use deceit if it’ll help her reach her goals.
You may miss the opportunity to recruit Juni depending on what you choose to do in her story.
That said, her heart thankfully is in the right place and she is also dependable, making her a welcome recruit to your crew. Her presence is rarely felt, however, with her focused on her own business on the ship most of the time.
Kadet
Kadet immediately captures attention the moment she graces your journey. She displays her fiery personality right away after she almost gets run over before your eyes. Unlike the other characters, she wears her heart on her sleeve and it’s refreshing to meet someone who says exactly what they mean for a change.

You can sympathize with her as someone who is also on the run and it’s easy to also long for her freedom after seeing how much heart she has.
Nia
Nia’s is an inspiring story to follow with her desire to show her brother her ability to be independent and a reliable crew mate. She doesn’t let her loved ones’ doubts crush her determination and instead powers through confidently. Even without you, she attempts to make a name for herself by pursuing business of her own.
Though she may be unafraid of danger and failure, it’s her love and understanding for her brother that humanizes her and brings warmth to her character.
Femi
Femi is the very image of a doting and overprotective brother. While it’s easy to roll your eyes at how much he keeps his sister caged in his care, you can also understand where he’s coming from given the obvious dangers of the system and the contracts you face all the time.
You’ll soon warm up to him as you realize that he truly comes from a place of love and affection for his sister. This is also what makes it satisfying to see his growth as their story concludes.
Yu-Jin
Yu-Jin is interesting because while he starts off as a friendly face, you eventually get hints about his true nature and you start to question his intentions. As you progress through his stories, you’ll find layers to his goals and to why people view him the way they do.

What ultimately makes him one of the most interesting characters is how he grows, especially as one of the earliest crew mates you can meet. Your choices also have an impact on the kind of person he can turn out to be making his story one of the most engaging.
Bliss
Bliss may not be a new face in the world of Citizen Sleeper, but what they bring to the table is a nice look into what has happened after the events on the Eye and how they’ve grown. Bliss is enjoyable to have on-board, especially if you’ve gone through the first Citizen Sleeper thanks to the memories they bring up of that period.
As a crew mate, Bliss is reliable and a mature voice, in contrast to their carefree attitude back on the Eye.
Laine
Laine is an interesting villain because while you only confront him in certain parts of the story, his presence looms over you throughout your whole journey. His manner of speech and his design screams danger for anyone who crosses him, not to mention that he seems to have an obsession with having you in his grasp.

Serafin
Of all the characters you meet, the best one has to be your ride or die, Serafin. This man is the first person you meet and right off the bat you already feel the deep bond you have with him. His charm comes from his stern demeanor and sarcastic remarks coupled with his obvious care for you.
Unlike the other crew mates, Serafin cannot be recruited on your contracts apart from the first because he’ll be manning the Rig.
