Blacksmithing is a crucial part of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and at some point, we’ve all had to craft or forge a sword, especially one we truly wanted. But instead of taking the easy route and buying it from a weaponsmith, we choose the harder yet cheaper way: crafting it ourselves.

To forge a weapon, you’ll need to gather and collect the right materials. One of these essential materials is the Horned Sword Guard. In this guide, we ensure you will not have any problems or struggle anymore with getting that material.
Where To Buy Horned Sword Guard
Throughout the vast open world of the game, you’ll encounter many vendors and merchants, including apothecary merchants who specialize in selling items like herbs, potions, and sometimes even potion recipes. You’ll also come across other vendors, such as blacksmiths and weaponsmiths. Unlike apothecary merchants, weaponsmiths sell a different variety of goods, including weapons, armor, and sword-crafting materials like the Horned Sword Guard, which we need.
If you’re still in the early stages of the game, open your map and head to Kuttenberg. There, in the middle of the main town, you’ll find a blacksmith who will sell you the Horned Sword Guard.
How To Find Horned Sword Guard
Blacksmithing materials can be looted throughout the wide open world of the game, though they are sometimes uncommon to find. However, there is another way to obtain them, by stealing from blacksmith merchants.
If you enjoy stealth, you’ll like this method. First, make sure you have enough lockpicks in your inventory. Then, wait until nightfall when all the merchants are asleep. Head to a weaponsmith’s house or store, carefully pick the lock without being seen and loot the place. Inside, you’ll find the Horned Sword Guard, so grab as many as you can.
