There are fifteen Master System games in total to collect and play. The process of acquiring these games amounts to locating the four pawn shops spread across Honolulu. We’ll show you the location of each shop, what games they have in stock, and tell you when you can access them. Follow this guide and your Master System collection will be complete in no time.

You will recognize most of these games as returning from Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, but there are a few newcomers as well. This is the first appearence made by Poseidon Wars, Space Harrier 3-D, and Star Jacker in a Like A Dragon game.

How To Play Master System Games

Nearly every hideout in the game will have a Master System in it which will allow you to play your collection of games. That includes the shed on Rich Island, Revolve in Honolulu, and your Pirate Room on Madlantis.

You won’t have access to the Pirate Room the first time you arrive at Madlantis. You’ll gain access to it after engaging in your first Pirate’s Coliseum battle.

You’ll have access to these games from the moment you gain access to your shed on Rich Island. There are no requirements beyond that: just turn on the Master System and enjoy.

Treasure Select Pawn – Hula Ave.

The Hula Ave. Treasure Select Pawn shop is located southeast of Revolve. It is east of the Resort Blvd. and Hula Ave. intersection. You’ll have access to the Hula Ave. Treasure Select Pawn shop the moment you arrive in Honolulu in Chapter 2. You can head there directly and purchase these three games immediately upon arriving.

Treasure Select Pawn – River St.

The River St. Treasure Select Pawn shop is northeast of the Aloha Bridge. Just like the Hula Ave. location, you’ll gain access to the River St. shop as soon as you arrive in Honolulu. There is nothing prohibiting you from accessing this location.

Treasure Select Pawn – Anaconda

The Treasure Select Pawn shop in the Anaconda Shopping Center will be cordoned off initially. You won’t be able to cross the Aloha Bridge to access that half of Honolulu. Continue playing through the main questline until you receive the “Go to Diamond Head” task. At that point, you can cross the bridge and head east to the Anaconda Shopping Center. From there, you simply need to purchase the games from the pawn shop – which is on the east side of the second level.

The Treasure Select Pawn shop in Chinatown is on the northwest corner of the Honolulu map. Just like with the Anaconda branch, you won’t be able to reach this location until you have received the “Go to Diamond Head” task. However, once you can clear that Aloha Bridge, you’re free to head directly to Chinatown and purchase these games.
