Like A Dragon: 8 Characters Who Change The Most Throughout The Series

Like A Dragon’s story spans decades, and its characters are always changing over the years.

This guide will outline where you’ll find every proud resident of this mighty kingdom, the ins and outs of taking care of each animal, and what rewards you’ll receive in the process. Basically, this is an all-encompassing guide that will tell you everything you’ll need to know.

Feeding Pets

Like A Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. Majima looking at the animals on the farm.

Once you acquire an animal for your kingdom, you’ll be able to feed them once every five minutes. These are real-time minutes. You can absolutely feed the animals, watch a YouTube video, and then feed them again. Each time you feed an animal you will increase their friendship meter. They’ll also reward you with an ingredient.

Each animal has three levels of ingredient that they will provide. As an example, Goro will give you Rabbit Meat, then after you have filled their friendship bar up to around the halfway point, he’ll give you Pheasant Meat, after maxing the bar out, he’ll provide you with Bear Meat.

Pet Food Choice

You will be able to provide your pets with one of three types of food: Pet food, High-End Pet Food, and Ultimate Pet Food. The quality of pet food will determine how much you grow your friendship with the animal you are feeding as well as how much of each reward they will provide you with.

If you feed an animal Regular Pet Food they’ll give you two of their food type, feeding them High-End Pet Food will earn you four of their food type, and Ultimate Pet Food will get you seven of their food type.

You can purchase Pet Food for $10 at Stella’s Shop. You can buy High-End Pet Food for $150.00. As for Ultimate Pet Food, you’ll need to find that stuff in briefcases scattered around the world.

Pet Snacks

Once you return to Rich Island in Chapter 2, after having upgraded your ship in Honolulu, and you will be able to recruit animals to your crew once you have built up their friendship bar. You’ll also unlock the ability to provide the Kingdom’s residents with snacks. This will provide you with the Essence of Pet Snacks recipe in your cooking menu. If you interact with the barrel in the corner of the pen, you’ll be able to provide them with snacks every ten minutes.

The Essence of Pet Snacks meal will require three pieces of meat, five bugs, five fish, five fruits, and five eggs or dairy items. Higher-quality versions of The Essence of Pet Snacks do not appear to provide any bonuses, so feel free to use lower-quality food items when crafting snacks.
