What Is Gold Rush?

Gold Rush is an effect that makes you move more quickly, jump higher, and break things more quickly while doing more pickaxe damage against structures. It only lasts for a short time, but it’s certainly a worthwhile effect to have, so don’t miss out on using it.

How Do You Get Gold Rush?

There are a few ways in which you can get the Gold Rush effect.

Gold Veins

You can find Gold Veins on the western side of the island, where you can’t help but notice the ground has gold ore growing throughout it. Though the environment appears to have plenty of gold, there are specific locations for the Gold Veins you can actually mine from. Using your pickaxe on these veins will grant the Gold Rush effect.

Mining from these Gold Veins will give you Gold Bars as well as the Gold Rush effect.

Gold Rivers

On the same western side of the island, the water here is infused with gold, no doubt from all that naturally occurring ore. Jumping into Gold River water will also give you the Gold Rush effect, though sadly, no Gold Bars.
