What Is Premium Adventure?

After the credits have rolled, you’ll be prompted to create a Premium Adventure save file. Premium Adventure lets you continue where you left off, allowing you to mop up any other side content you wish to, while still having the full range of the maps and all the abilities and money you’ve acquired.

Premium Adventure also allows you to change the time of day from your hideout, so you can freely switch between night and day.

If you want to revisit the Pirate Yakuza storyline but with the added benefit of hitting the ground running with a few things, New Game Plus is the way to go. Here’s everything that carries over into New Game Plus:

  • Money
  • Items, including CDs, Master System games etc
  • Reputation/Pirate Rank
  • Majima’s stats and abilities
  • Crew stats
  • Outfits

Substories, other events, and found treasures will not carry over.

If you want to mop up your Treasury of Treasures, you should do it on Premium Adventure rather than New Game Plus.
