So which cards make this structure deck worth picking up? From powerful extra deck monsters to Blue-Eyes support that helps the archetype reach new heights, it’s a good day to be a long-time fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! as the deck takes players back to the Duel Monsters era.
10
Infinite Impermanence
Negate From The Hand Or Field
Any deck that wants to stand a chance against the competition needs a few copies of this card in the deck. This Trap Card can be used from the hand to negate a face-up monster’s effect.
If you go first, then Infinite Impermanence can be set and sprung during your opponent’s turn. This will let you negate one of your opponent’s monster effects but also negate the effects of Spells or Traps in the same column. This card is versatile and now even cheaper to get a hold of.
9
Ash Blossom And Joyous Spring
The Essential Hand Trap Tool Kit
Ash Blossom can put a stop to many of your opponent’s shenanigans, whether they want to search for a card, dump one to the graveyard, or Special Summon directly from the deck. This makes this one of the more versatile hand traps in the game.
Ash Blossom is a go-to for any deck since the three effects that it negates are some of the more frequently used. Any beginner would be lucky to have a playset of three and the Blue-Eyes White Destiny structure deck makes it easy and affordable to do so.
8
Effect Veiler
A Searchable Hand Trap From The Deck
Effect Veiler may be an older card, but it still sees plenty of play. This card can negate the effect of one of your opponent’s face-up monsters during their turn. While it may be a less potent version of Infinite Impermanence, it is searchable using cards from this deck.
It also helps that this card has a similar effect without being the same name. This allows it to be paired with Infinite Impermanence to give you even more monster negates from the hand. The structure deck includes two copies of this card.
7
Nibiru, The Primal Being
Break Your Opponent’s Combos
A common Nibiru is such an odd sight, but a welcome one. This card is another great hand trap included in this structure deck. It can put an end to your opponent’s combos. This forces them to waste resources playing around it and can even weaken an endboard.

Nibiru tributes all of your opponent’s monsters, then leaves them with a token. While this token will have a stronger attack for each monster you get rid of, it is much better than having effects on the board that can stop you from playing.
6
Maiden Of White
A Classic Card Retrained
The monster on the cover is one of the best cards in the structure deck. Maiden of White is based on Kisara from the anime with powers to get your Blue-Eyes combo started right. It does so by letting you play the True Light Trap face-up without having to set it first.
Maiden of White can easily bring herself back to the field when a Blue-Eyes White Dragon is Summoned. As a Tuner, this makes it easier to go into some Synchro plays or get her back after you use her for the Summon of a Link Monster.
5
Roar Of The Blue-Eyed Dragons
A Free Blue-Eyes Summon
Sometimes what you need to get your play going is a Blue-Eyes White Dragon on the field. Roar of the Blue-Eyed Dragons gets this done but can also Special Summon other Blue-Eyes monsters from the deck.
While this locks you into only Summoning Dragons for the rest of the turn, Blue-Eyes is mostly dragons anyway. You can also Summon other monsters before using this card. Roar of the Blue-Eyed Dragons is also capable of Fusion Summoning Bllue-Eyes monsters.
4
Wishes For Eyes Of Blue
Fetch Two Cards At Once
Wishes for Eyes Of Blue is another card that debuts as part of the structure set. This piece of Blue-Eyes support lets you fetch two cards from your deck. This gives you one Level One Light Tuner and any Spell or Trap that mentions Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
If you don’t draw into any of your important starters, then this is a great way to get the ball moving. The fact that it fetches two makes it even better since you’ll end up with an additional card in hand after using it.
3
Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon
A Terrifying Attack And Negate
The Blue-Eyes White Destiny structure deck features two monsters on the front cover. One of them is a starter to help your plays get going, while the other is the boss monster for the deck. This is Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon, the signature boss.
This monster takes two Tuners and a Blue-Eyes monster to set up. Once it is on the field, you get a negate you can use on other cards that hit the field. If it is destroyed, it also floats into any Light Dragon monster that is already in your graveyard.
2
Indigo-Eyes Silver Dragon
Negate Everything With One Summon
If you want a card with a lingering negate that blankets the field, then Indigo-Eyes Silver Dragon is the right choice. It’s not much going first, but when you’re going second, it will negate all of your opponent’s face-up cards, including Field Spells, Monsters, and face-up Traps.
This negate is also lingering, as the card never mentions a time at which the effects will turn back on again. It also doesn’t mention this effect as only applying while Indigo-Eyes Silver Dragon is on the field. If the activation of this effect goes through, your opponent will need to get fresh cards on the field.
1
Spirit With Eyes Of Blue
A Link-1 Monster Is All It Takes
Link Monsters usually require more than one material, so getting a card that only requires one monster can instantly make any deck more powerful. Spirit With Eyes of Blue lets you take a copy of Mausoleum of White and either add it to your hand or dump it to the graveyard.
You can also tribute Spirit With Eyes of Blue to get another Blue-Eyes monster on the field from your hand. This card helps the deck flow smoothly while also playing under Droll and Lock Bird since you have a choice of adding or dumping cards.
