How To Start Jason Rich’s Drink Link
This Drink Link unlocks after having five Bond Chats with Jason across the seas. The five Bond Chats are:
- Saint Nick
- Time for a Drink
- A Handy Man
- Dreams from the Past
- What’s Really Precious.
After you finish your fifth chat, Jason will invite you out to have a Drink Link with him at the crew quarters area below deck on the Goromaru, so head there when you’re ready.
Once there, you’ll see the “Talk” prompt pop up and a message asking if you’d like to “Drink with Jason” or not.
What To Say To Jason Rich: First Choice
Once you get into the conversation, Jason will remark on how he finds it funny how the story has gone so far, with Majima now the captain of his own pirate ship.
Jason begins messing with Majima, questioning what century they’re really in.Your three options are:
- Is this the Age of Discovery?
- We’re in the twenty-second century?
- I ain’t’ fallin fer that shit.
The correct answer is “I ain’t fallin fer that shit.”, prompting Jason to laugh and say he thought Majima would be a more gullible amnesiac.
If you say answer one, “Is this the Age of Discovery?” Jason admits he was just joking around after Majima begins to genuinely believe it.
What To Say To Jason Rich: Second Choice
Jason goes on to talk about how great the adventures away from Rich Island with Noah are. He expresses his concern about setting an example for Noah, leaving you with three choices of response.
Your choices are:
- You been a damn fine dad.
- Kids’ll make do no matter what.
- And I’ll teach Noah to drink!
The correct answer is “You been a damn fine dad,” which makes Jason feel the self-imposed weight lifting from his shoulders.
Even if you want to mess with Jason by selecting one of the other choices, Majima will eventually call Jason a damn fine dad anyway.
Jason finishes his beer and remarks on the great drink you both just shared, completing the Drink Link.
As the Link comes to a close, you’ll strengthen your bond with Jason, raising his level cap to 50 and changing his Squad Leader Traits to “Hunter’s Knowledge Bonded”.
This new passive Greatly boosts Attack and Defense and adds Gun Resistance.
