Ever since horror fans found out that Scream 7 had started filming in early 2025, they have come up with various Ghostface theories and have been hoping to see some images of the cast members. As reported by Fear HQ, there are behind-the-scenes images of Ghostface on the Scream 7 set.
The X account @cravenmovies shared a video that included images of the beloved slasher villain. While of course the identity of the killer is still under wraps and won’t be revealed until a major moment in Scream 7, it’s still fun to see Ghostface wearing the iconic black and white mask and black cape that fans know and love.

Scream 7 Needs To Avoid This Scream 4 Plot Hole
Scream 4 told a great story about Sidney Prescott’s Woodsboro homecoming, but a fan noticed one plot hole, and it shouldn’t happen again in Scream 7.
In these images, Ghostface is walking outside of a coffee shop, although it’s unclear how this business fits into the overall storyline. At the very least, it seems clear that Ghostface will be stalking at least one character who could work at the cafe or is spending time there, and that’s why the villain is hanging around outside. It’s also unclear if Scream 7 is set in Woodsboro and if this coffee shop is in the small California town that Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is from.
Scream 7 is currently filming in Atlanta, Georgia. Before seeing these cool behind-the-scenes images of Ghostface, fans were thrilled bout some significant casting announcements from newcomers to legacy cast members. Courteney Cox, Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown are joining Neve Campbell, who is reprising her beloved Sidney Prescott role and who will hopefully have a great plotline.
It has been fun to hear what the cast and crew has to say about shooting Scream 7. Brown praised director Kevin Williamson in an interview with Deadline and also shared some positive thoughts about him in an interview with PEOPLE in February 2025. The actress said, “it’s a dream to get to work with Kevin.” She added:
“”I don’t know if he would like me saying this, but he cries every day on set because he’s so thrilled. This franchise started his career, and I am really honored to get to play his favorite character.”
While hopefully some more behind-the-scenes Scream 7 images will be shared online before the movie is released in theaters on February 27th, 2026, fans can at least rest assured that Ghostface looks as creepy and memorable as ever. Since the trailer for Scream 6 was released in December 2022 and the movie came out in March 2023, fans can hopefully expect a trailer later this year. Fans can’t wait for the next part of Ghostface’s journey.
