Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has launched a new distribution event that gives players the chance to add Generation 2 Pokemon Jumpluff to their roster. New Pokemon Scarlet and Violet codes are released on a semi-regular basis, though some are certainly more exciting than others. There are Pokemon Scarlet and Violet codes that give away free items, which fans no doubt appreciate, but the free Pokemon codes are the ones that draw the most attention.
Unfortunately, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet codes expire after some time, meaning some players may miss out on getting free Pokemon. A code for Roy’s Fuecoco expired on January 31, and February 28 will be the last day that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players can redeem a code to get a free Pawmot. As it so happens, February 28 is also the day that the newest Pokemon Scarlet and Violet mystery gift code expires, so those interested need to act fast.

After February 28, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players will no longer be able to get 30 Quick Balls, Pawmot, Jumpluff, or an Expert Belt for free by redeeming a code. At that point, the only active Pokemon Scarlet and Violet mystery gift codes will be the code to get a free Kitakami Rotom Phone, which doesn’t expire, and the code to get free sandwich ingredients, which is scheduled to expire on January 19, 2026.
This is no doubt disappointing for new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players who may miss out on the codes, but there may be some good news coming sooner rather than later. Pokemon Day is taking place on February 27, and there’s a chance that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be featured at the show. If so, maybe fans will get treated to new codes that they can redeem for free items, Pokemon, or whatever else. Then again, Pokemon Day may mark Game Freak, Nintendo, and The Pokemon Company fully turning their attention to the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Z-A, so fans should keep that in mind.
