Oda Introduces An Overpowered Awakened Devil Fruit In Elbaf 

The Elbaf arc of One Piece is quite interesting already, with all the massive reveals that Oda has made and the exciting plot points that he’s set up. For quite a while, fans were unsure as to what direction the arc was going to take. However, with the arrival of the Holy Knights, it became quite clear that the battle in this arc was going to be against them.

Now, the plot in Elbaf is slowly taking more shape and fans are incredibly excited to see what happens as more Holy Knights appear. With the arrival of stronger enemies, fans also see overpowered abilities being introduced. One Piece chapter 1140 introduced fans to another such overpowered ability, and it might just be one of One Piece’s most amazing powers, even though the design is probably not to everyone’s taste. This Devil Fruit belongs to Saint Qilingam Of House Limosiv, a very powerful Holy Knight who was introduced in Elbaf.

Oda Introduces Two More Holy Knights

The Holy Knights first made an appearance in the Elbaf arc around One Piece chapter 1130, and when that happened, fans knew that they were going to be the main villains of the arc. Of course, it is quite clear that not all Holy Knights are going to be the main villains here. They’re quite a few in number and not all of them are present on Elbaf currently. Furthermore, it is highly likely that the Holy Knights will clash with Dragon and his Revolutionary Army soon enough, so Oda has to save them for that threat as well.

However, that aside, they are going to be deeply involved in Elbaf as well, especially since they’re already here and their goal is set as well. At first, two Holy Knights appeared in Elbaf, and they are Shamrock Figarland, and Gunko. Their target was revealed to be Loki and they did eventually get to him and presented an offer to join the Holy Knights. However, Loki rejected the offer quickly, which led to the Holy Knights changing their strategy. The goal was then to kidnap some Giant children and use them as hostages. For this purpose, one more Holy Knight was called upon, although One Piece chapter 1140 saw the introduction of two.

Interestingly enough, one of them showed up with his Devil Fruit ability activated, and it is quite clearly one of the most dangerous powers in One Piece to date. Although fans haven’t seen the power of the fruit just yet, it is only a matter of time before the Holy Knight will go on to show what he is truly capable of, and in doing so, utilize the incredible power offered by the amazing awakened Devil Fruit.

The Qilin or Kirin Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit

One Piece chapter 1140 introduced fans to one of the strongest Devil Fruits seen in the story and that is the Qilin fruit. Also known as the Kirin, this is a powerful mythical beast that’s said to be like a Chimera. It has a body similar to that orna giraffe, with the neck of a dragon and the bottom half of a horse/ox. This creature is incredibly powerful. In fact, in Japanese legends, the Kirin is considered to be the most mighty of beasts, at least according to multiple sources. In Chinese mythology, the Qilin is considered to be one of the five mightiest beasts, which just goes to show what a spectacular Devil Fruit this is.

Although the appearance of this Devil Fruit beast may look weird, it is quite incredible in terms of power. The Kirin is strong enough to utilize lightning effectively according to some legends. In some shows, Kirin is shown to be a lightning manipulator, capable of summoning lightning storms. But, this is a rather uncommon ability for it.

Usually, Kirin is said to be capable of breathing fire, manipulating wind, and causing large-scale destruction.

On top of that, Kirin is said to hold flight capabilities and at the same time, incredible tough scales as well. The durability of the Kirin is next level, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see this beast in action. Saint Qilingam showed off the hybrid form of the Qilin fruit in One Piece chapter 1140, but none of the capabilities of the fruit have been revealed so far. Oda will definitely go over them soon enough.

The Qilin Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit is seemingly awakened. This is indicated by the fact that Qilingam has a smoke ring around the neck. But, it must be noted that this is speculative. The smoke ring isn’t a sign of awakening always. For instance, Luffy had the smoke ring in Gear 4 as well. More importantly, Yamato had the smoke ring as a child freshly after eating the Okuchi no Makami fruit as well and the fruit was most definitely not awakened. Still, it can be assumed to be a feature of awakening, but Oda will most definitely have to clarify its status as the story moves forward.

How Strong Is Saint Qilingam Of House Limosiv?

The Full Strength Remains To Be Seen

The true strength of Saint Qilingam Of House Limosiv hasn’t been seen yet. But, one can definitely make assumptions based on what the story has shown so far. For one, fans should keep in mind they Qilingam was brought to Elbaf by Shamrock, who believed that one more Holy Knight would be enough to help him subjugate the land of the Giants. This means they with three people, he hoped to take down Elbaf, and potentially even a Yonko crew. If this was his way of thinking, then the God’s Knights are most definitely on a completely different level. But, they cannot be more powerful than the Five Elders, and fans have already seen what the Elders are capable of. The Five Elders were somewhat similar to a Yonko in terms of power, which means that the Holy Knights, aside from Shamrock, are not on the same level of strength as the Yonko. Still, they should only be slightly below, otherwise they won’t be able to pose any sort of a challenge at all.

Saint Qilingam should be around the same level of strength as an Admiral, especially since his Qilin Devil Fruit appears to be incredibly overpowered and because of the fact that this ability is potentially awakened.
