Into The Underworld is one of the two quests you can do after completing the Speak of the Devil questline in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. In order to do this quest, you would need to make a pretty long journey to Kuttenberg City. There, Katherine has gathered a lot of information, so your aim is to visit her and ask about everything she has learned.

After that, your aim now is to find Liechtenstein. While you have to warn him for his own safety, you have another goal, but finding him is pretty tricky. Here, we will guide you on how to find him.
Talk To Katherine
After you have saved the Dry Devil, he will ask you to track down his men. Along with that, Zizka also asks you to visit Katherine to find out what she has learned. So, head over to Kuttenberg City and talk to Katherine.
She will tell you about Goatskin, who could know about Liechtenstein or have some information related to him. However, finding him is the real issue, and there are several ways you do so.
Talk To Chenyek
After reaching the inn, The Hole in the Wall, talk to the innkeeper or the person standing outside. Both will tell you to talk to Chenyek, so simply approach him. He is likely to be inside the inn. After talking to him, you will get some skills checks.
If you can succeed with the skill checks, you won’t have to fight an NPC Goliath. You can even spend 200 Groschen to skip the fight, but as money is pretty important, we would advise against that. Instead, you can fight against Goliath.
Head over to the coordinates marked on your map and talk to Goliath. He will ask you to wear off your whole armor, and if he still doesn’t fight you, wear off everything. Get inside the ring and defeat him. Chenyek will be watching you, so once you have defeated Goliath, talk to him, and you will gain his respect.
That said, he will ask you to do a task for him, which will trigger another quest, so choose the option “I’ll stop by later”. He will then tell you that Goatskin can be found at night around Hardek and the Horse Market. He will also recommend Henry to look at the bathhouse and The Black Horse.
Head Over To The Bathhouse
Open your map, and you will notice a search area. The big building at the bottom right corner of the search area is the bathhouse, so go over to her. Now, talk to everyone in sight, and you are likely to learn something new from them.
One of the maids in the bathhouse, Hanka, will tell you about Goatskin’s girlfriend, Mary. Now, there are two Marys in the bathhouse, Meaty Mary and Lousy Mary. You are looking for Lousy Mary, so talk to her about Goatskin.
There is an ongoing bug that can cause Lousy Mary to get stuck in the kitchen upstairs. If that happens, simply skip one hour and search for her around the bathhouse.
Upon talking to her, you will do some skill checks. If you can succeed with them, she will assist you in finding the person you are looking for. However, if you fail, she won’t help you, but you can still figure out where Goatskin is hiding.
If Lousy Mary doesn’t go to where Goatskin is hiding right away after your talk, simply talk to her again and ask her to pour you a drink. After that, sleep with her, and following this event, she may visit Goatskin.
After you talk to her, she will likely go to where Goatskin is, so follow her, and you will reach the location. That said, you won’t see him that easily as he is pretty well hidden, and time plays an important role here.
How To Find Goatskin
In the alleyway, Goatskin can be seen wandering around, but only at night around the 22:00 mark. You can skip the time to 22:00, and you may find him walking in the alley with a torch. However, he didn’t appear for us, and if he doesn’t for you too, then no need to worry as there is an alternative.
Enter the barn situated behind the Tailor. This is a restricted area, so make sure to go there at night, as someone else may notice you during the daytime. Head up the barn and go drop down. You will notice another ladder in front of you, so go up, and there will be a window in front of you.
Climb out of the window, and in front of you, there will be some platforms. Climb to the top of the cart and climb through the window to enter Goatskin’s barn. If you go there at night, Goatskin most likely won’t be there, so skip the time today, and you will find him.
Talk to him, and you will get some skills checks again. This time, it won’t be too hard to succeed, so choose the option with the most points, preferably the Charisma one. This way, he will only ask for 150 Groschen, and you will get some crucial information.
However, if you fail the skill check, you will need to pay him 500 Groschen. After you have the information, it is time to head over to Samuel to find out more about Liechtenstein.
Talk To Samuel
Head over to the coordinates marked on your map and talk to Samuel. You will be given more skills checks in this conversation, and you are likely to succeed here. However, even if you don’t, it won’t matter much, as the quest will progress either way.
He will ask you to infiltrate the antisemites’ meeting, but it will be an ambush, so prepare accordingly. At the current time, the location of the meeting won’t be marked on your map, so skip the time to midnight as that is when the supposed meeting will be held.
Once you have reached the location, a cutscene will commence, and two armed men will attack you. This fight is going to be a little tough as they will both gang up on you. However, you may not have to defeat both of them. Just defeat one and damage the other one a little bit.
If you are having trouble beating Samuel’s men, try to beat the one with an ax first and then focus on the one with the hunting sword. You may also have to defeat both of them completely in order to trigger the cutscene.
This way, a cutscene will start where Samuel will ask you to spare his men, and he will make a deal with you. Apparently, he has been acting under the orders of Liechtenstein, and you seemed suspicious of him.
Due to that, Henry will hand over his sword to him, and after checking it, suddenly, Samuel will start trusting him and will return his sword. Sooner, you will be taken to Liechtenstein. Tell him everything that has happened and ask for his help to find Lord Capon.
You can also admit to betrayal, as Godwin gave Istvan Toth some information about where Liechtenstein is. He wouldn’t mind much, as Henry, Zizka, and Godwin were tortured. Liechtenstein agrees to help and asks Henry to seek Lord Ruthard, as he can help rescue Hans Capon.
