Not only does it get you closer to the hole, but driving further can also help you get better angles for approach shots to challenging greens.

Thankfully, there are a few simple things you can do in the game to increase your drive distance. Rather than only hitting the ball around 300 yards from the tee box, you’ll soon be smashing the ball over trees on dog leg holes like you’re Bryson DeChambeau.

Increase Your Power Stat

The first and most obvious way to hit longer drives in PGA Tour 2K25 is to upgrade your pro’s Power stat in MyCareer. While power affects other aspects of a shot, such as height and spin, it also determines how far you can hit the ball.

As you play rounds and earn VC, you can spend that currency on increasing your power stat if you want to drive further. The higher the stat, the longer your drives will be – it’s that simple.

While power is fun, we’d recommend spreading out your stat points, rather than spending them all in one category.

Unlock Power Drive Skill

The power drive skill in the tee tree in PGA Tour 2K25.

To hit even longer drives, you can unlock the Power Drive skill towards the end of the Tee tree. It’s not something that you’ll be able to unlock early in the MyCareer season, but it’s something you should aim to get as soon as you can. It’ll help you drive the green on some of the shorter par four holes.

You need to be 85 overall rated and have the Powerhouse Archetype to unlock the Power Drive skill.

Apply Topspin To Your Shots

The final way to increase your drive distance is away from stats. It is something you can alter before you take a shot.

If you open up the True Shot indicator, you can add top spin to your next shot. Drag the right stick spin indicator to the top, at which point you’ll notice that the carry distance on your shot is actually reduced.

However, don’t be concerned. While the carry will be shorter due to a lower flight, the shot will see the ball kick up and roll further down the fairway. In total, the shot will be longer than without topspin.
