How To Get The Kneecapper

The Kneecapper is an Epic rarity weapon that can be found in random locations across Fortnite Island. Players can obtain it by looting containers such as Chests and Rare Chests, though the drop rate is not guaranteed. Additionally, the Kneecapper can spawn as regular floor loot, much like other items in the loot pool, giving players multiple opportunities to acquire it.

The Kneecapper can also be obtained by looting Heist Bags. Heist Bags can be found at pretty much every named POI on the map in random locations, and function a lot like regular Chests. However, unlike regular Chests, these bags drop a set of different heist weapons, with The Kneecapper being one of the potential items that can be found inside.

How To Use The Kneecapper

The Kneecapper is primarily a melee item that also doubles as a mobility item, giving players the passive ability to sprint much faster whilst having it equipped, along with reducing the player’s stamina consumption. This can be a clutch in most situations, allowing players to rapidly engage or disengage from a fight when necessary. The Kneecapper also eliminates fall damage whilst it is on hand.

Of course, with The Kneecapper primarily being a melee weapon, it also has two notable attacks. Here is a quick breakdown of each one:

• Attack (Shoot Button): A flurry of swings, dishing out 30 damage with the original strike, before ramping up to 55 total damage with the final strike.
• Charged Smash (Aim Button): A charged attack that dishes out 60 damage a hit and sends players back. Capable of eliminating players through fall damage. It will go into a short cooldown after each use.
