Listening closer, Cyndi Lauper’s 80s hit Girls Just Want to Have Fun can be heard playing in the background, and the player felt it was necessary to point out that the mech walks to the song’s beauty perfectly. Helldivers 2 has a plethora of reliable weapons to combat Terminids with, but the Reddit community thought nothing would strike fear into the hearts of aliens more than seeing a big Mech blasting bug families to pieces while blasting Cyndi Lauper. Only one mech suit is currently available in the shooter, and that’s the Exo-45 Patriot Exosuit. Some Helldivers 2 players think the Mechs are overpowered, but the Patriot’s minigun is only lethal against lightly armored enemies like Hunters or Troopers and the vents of Annihilator Tanks. Produced on the planet of Tien Kwan, the Patriot Exosuits are equipped with a rocket pod housing 14 rockets, a minigun holding 1K rounds of ammunition, and the suit is also capable of performing a memorable melee stomp attack.
