Players will meet several NPCs throughout their adventure in Avowed who’ll offer various tasks for the players to complete. The Elder Offerings is a side quest that you’ll receive from Rossana in Fior Mes Iverno, who’ll request the Envoy to visit the gravestones of elders and leave offerings on them. However, it’s not going to be easy as you’ll face resistance from angered spirits and ghouls. Here’s how you’ll complete this quest in Avowed.

Visiting All Three Gravestones & Leaving Offerings

Visit Three Gravestones in Elder Offerings Quest Avowed

Players can encounter Rossana at the Fior Mes Iverno settlement in the Emerald Stair region of Avowed. She’s standing right behind the bounty board next to a tent. She’ll task you with leaving some food items as an offering to the dead at their gravestones in three separate locations, starting the Elder Offerings quest.

After the conversation, players will have an optional objective to talk to the grain merchant Ilena in the Farmer’s Market and tell her about the food offerings Rossana gave them. If you choose to return the stolen food, the Elder Offerings quest will end. However, if you decide to pay for the food (100 Copper Skeyt), you’ll be able to continue with Rossana’s request.

Regardless, this interaction is avoidable, and it’s recommended that you go on with the quest to earn a unique accessory from Rossana upon quest completion.

The Gravestone in Truffle Farm

The gravestone at Truffle Farm is located east of Fior Mes Iverno settlement. After entering the graveyard, you’ll need to eliminate some shadow spirits, as well as some Decaying Skeleton rangers.

Once the enemies are taken care of, simply interact with the gravesite and leave food offerings on it.

The Gravestone at South Coast

The next gravestone to visit is on the South Coast, located between Naku Tedek Grounds and Maxim’s Claim locations. After players reach the area, they’ll need to descend a series of stairs leading to the row of gravestones. There are a few enemies above the staircase that you may need to defeat to reach the area below.

After arriving at the gravestones, you’ll need to defeat the Shadows and some Decaying Skeleton Chanters. Once they’re taken care of, place food offerings at the gravestone to complete the second Elder Offerings objective in Avowed.

The Gravestone in the Swamp

The final graveyard is the farthest, so you’ll need to travel quite a bit on foot if you haven’t unlocked the fast travel point near the Swamp. After reaching the location, you’ll notice there isn’t a graveyard, but a tomb that you need to visit. As always, first, take out the hostile Shadow spirits and some skeletons outside the tomb.

After taking care of the enemies, head inside the tomb and leave food offerings on top of the burial stone. Doing this will complete all three objectives of the Elder Offerings quest in Avowed.

Talking to Rosanna & Receiving Your Reward

Now return to Rossana at the Fior Mes Iverno settlement and talk to her. She’ll be grateful that you’ve managed to complete her task and ask you to pray with her for the souls of the deceased.

Be sure to oblige with her last request, as after the prayer she’ll reward players with Berath’s Blessed Ward

. It’s a trinket that players can equip to reduce damage taken from Vessels (undead enemies like skeletons) by 5%.
