  • EA Sports F1 24 will join the PC Game Pass and XGP Ultimate libraries later today.
  • Only one more title is confirmed to be coming to Microsoft’s subscription service before the end of February 2025.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can start playing Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader and EA Sports F1 24 as part of their subscription starting today, February 20. These additions bring the total number of 2025 Xbox Game Pass Ultimate releases to 19.

February 2025 is shaping up to be a relatively slow month for Microsoft’s subscription service, with its release cadence cut in half compared to January. On the other hand, this month’s lineup is fairly diverse, bolstering the Xbox Game Pass selection of RPGs, shooters, action adventures, strategies, and sports games.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Adds Much-Anticipated Day-One RPG

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate adds its fourth title for February 2025—a much-anticipated fantasy RPG from an award-winning developer.

Continuing this trend, EA Sports F1 24 and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader are expanding Microsoft’s content catalog on February 20. Rogue Trader reached the subscription service in the early morning (ET), whereas EA Sports’ racing sim is set to follow in the coming hours. EA Play titles are typically added to Xbox Game Pass later in the day, so it’s no surprise that Rogue Trader arrived before F1 24.

Made by Cyprus-based Owlcat Games, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is a classic CRPG that offers turn-based combat, branching quests with meaningful choices, and a lengthy story that takes over 60 hours to complete—even without engaging in side content. The game was released in December 2023 to a largely positive reception, as underlined by its “Strong” rating on OpenCritic, derived from an average score of 78 and a 77% reviewer recommendation rate.

F1 24 is a more mainstream addition to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate library, not least because it’s the latest entry in Codemasters’ popular series of Formula One sims. It also boasts a “Strong” OpenCritic rating, with a 77 average score and a 60% recommendation rate. Since it’s part of the EA Play catalog, F1 24 is only accessible to Microsoft’s subscribers paying for PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Meanwhile, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader can also be played via the Standard-tier membership.

Xbox Game Pass only has one more confirmed title for February 2025. That would be Watch Dogs: Legion, which is scheduled to reach the service on Tuesday, February 25. Microsoft is then expected to announce its next wave of releases on or around March 4. Before that happens, February 28 will see Xbox Game Pass lose nine titles, including F1 22, Gris, and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The remasters of Yakuza 3 and Yakuza 4 are also leaving Microsoft’s content library on that date, as are Maneater and Space Engineers.
